We had our wedding at the oaks on the 20th of February this year, from the moment we stepped into the oaks to have a look around we both fell in love with the venue. This was the first and only place we had looked at for getting married.

By the end of the night, all my guests told us it was one of the best events they had been too (including my 100 year old great nan) and how beautiful the venue was and how lovely the staff were! It is definitely going to be a day that we will never forget and will always cherish!

Thankyou to everyone at The Oaks for hosting our wedding, we wouldn't of wished to have had our day anywhere else 💖

BBQ Sharing Time 🍽

This wonderful couple chose an informal and relaxed structure to their day. Guests could sit wherever they wanted and were welcomed up to the top table to feast on a spectacular selection of meat and kebab options, a range of salads and their choice of potato, wedges, roasties or chips . . . yum!
To top it off, and one for the sweet tooth, a selection of Belgium chocolate torte or vanilla cheesecake 🤤

Want the set table aesthetic of a three course style meal but still want a sociable BBQ? Have the feast delivered to individual tables in 'help yourself' bowls, serving plates and platters for guests to dig in. Keeping that iconic wedding day seating plan and the look of a set table.

Every fayre we host feels different from the last, they are all unique in their own way. We get to catch up with booked in couples who we’ve met before. Talk about the planning they’ve done, help fill the gaps, meet their relatives and friends who may have come along for the day and go over any finer details they’ve been meaning to sort. We then get the opportunity to meet lots of new faces who may never have been to The Oaks before and are excited to be at the start of their wedding planning journey. For our team, the day whizzes by in a flash and we love every minute!

Our inspirational wedding suppliers showcased their incredible talents today and we couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work. Fayres not only give couples a chance to meet again with suppliers they have already booked, asking questions and getting answers to anything on their mind. But also inspiring you all to create the most amazing wedding day. Not one wedding we host is ever the same, each is as individual as the photo attached to the goodie bag collected by all The Oaks couple who attended today (if you know, you know!)
