With thirteen days remaining of the Cardiff Christmas Market for this year we would like to remind everyone that some of our stalls will be closing on Saturday 21 December. This is because, as a small company, we cannot physically dismantle all our stalls in one night. Please see the map below highlighting the two locations of St John Street and Trinity Street that will be closing on the 21 December at 6pm. All remaining stalls located in Working Street, the Hayes and Hills Street will remain open until 4pm on Monday 23 December.

The year is speeding by so fast; we are already at the end of August with our final event in Cardiff Bay over for another year. We have been working on our last and biggest event of the year for a while now but turn our attention in earnest to our preparations for our Christmas Market - yes, I know we have mentioned the C word! We usually start work in March when the applications are received as we know that our talented crafts people need to know if they are taking part to ensure that they make enough work for the market. That’s all for now - see you in November!!

Our Story

Craft*folK was established in 1994 and is dedicated to supporting genuine artists and crafts people who are looking to promote their work and actively encourage “in action” demonstrations to show off these skills. Individually produced food and drink displays are also welcome to add to the vibrant atmosphere of our contemporary free Fairs and Festivals where a real passion for tradition sometimes comes with a modern twist! With the wealth of knowledge gleaned from organising and participating in events for many years we are also happy to advise any new, up and coming makers on any aspect of crafting as having the courage to sell your work to customers, other than friends and family, can be very daunting and additional encouragement is sometimes needed. Please contact us if you wish to discuss this further. For more information on our Christmas Market this year please visit www.cardiffchristmasmarket.com
