Welcome to Serenity. I am Andrea-Louise, bridal and special occasion hair stylist.

With over 20 years experience and a NVQ level 3 stylist, I am delighted that I am now Freelance. Living on the Essex/Hertfordshire borders allows me to conveniently cover these two counties.

I have created many styles from relaxed, boho and textured, to traditional, sleek and structured. I have a passion for vintage and retro and can create anything from Hollywood glamour to a 50s rockabella style, 60s beehives or take you right back to the days of a Gatsby and the roaring 20s

My aim is to make you feel confident that your crowning glory for your big day is in safe, experienced hands and while achieving a hairstyle that will last all day, keeping you relaxed and calm.

This page is fairly new, and is a transition from my salon, so you’ll see a lot of brides who came to me before Serenity Wedding Hair was created.

Sometimes it’s not always weddings. A lovely, simple updo for this lady who was saying goodbye to her mum today. I found a purple butterfly in my box of bits that just finished it off and hid some pins. She loved it. Butterflies were her mums thing and purple her favourite colour. 🦋

There's not many brides can say they had 2 stylists for their big day. The lovely Sam was married in a small private ceremony on Wednesday then had a larger celebration a few days later. 2 variations on the hairstyle!
