We were somewhere so very beautiful this afternoon for a Handfasting Ceremony with Ian and Leonie.

Leonie is the Warden.. Custodian & Careraker for this wonderful stretch of land... just before the historic Languard Fort in Felixstowe Suffolk. This beautiful land might easily be missed but it is open to the Public.

It nestles as the River Orwell from Ipswich finds its way out to the sea.

Their home sits upon this ancient stretch of land. Thankfully as we waited for guests to arrive the rain clouds dissipated and the sun shone!

The land is quite breathtakingly full of wild flowers. Leonie says at least the best display in 3 years!

I am preparing a Handfasting Ceremony for Saturday..As we know a potent day with Summer Solstice & Full Moon.

In this instance whilst I am the container that offers The Blessing I am so very aware that I am "the pupil".

Such a week this is for growth & Understanding..

This couple are truly amazing together..

I shall not be using the Elements of Love as they have written their own Reading..

The message of this week is so very anchored in understanding, creating anew..

A new way is upon us..

5th of May! This year the date of the true Beltane alignment!

Personally ive always attuned to the Sacred Union & alignment of the Masculine & Femine as they come together in Celebration & Co~Creation on this day!

It seems my Soul recalls a time when the King & Queen of Albion rejoiced & celebrated in understanding the true purpose & potential of their Loving Sovereignty. Their Sacred responsibility in weaving this balance, through their Union, into these once Sacred Lands.

This Sacred Union held the potential for "All Life" to be held in balance & renewal. Their Marriage bed held the "seeds of potential for renewed creation". In the briefest Beltane moment "all worlds seen & unseen" would come together as "One in Divine Union & Earth Magic". I hold this close in my Heart.

Humanity has strayed so far from this Sacredness. Yet for some we might still glimpse & feel the strands of this natural magic as The Goddess opens her portal of renewal & new potentials ~☆°

Of course we all hold differing Soul memories. This memory reasonates deeply for me. This remembrance echoes through the Handfasting Ceremonies I offer. These Ceremonies have always arrived with a "will of their own". Each couple offers their own intentions. A beautiful Blessing arrives through this...

Moving forward it is my intention not to charge for these Ceremonies. Instead I will ask for a donation for my time & travel costs. I trust within the Divine order & flow of this ~☆°

Good Morning Beautiful Souls

Yesterday I attended a Legal Wedding in Norwich Castle to provide a Hand Tying Blessing (outside on the Bridge) for a beautiful couple. Outside was Legally acceptable to the Castle.

For those of you considering Ceremonies & Legality I shall be offering, moving forward, this simple Blessing...as an addition to your Legal Wedding.

As a Druid & Priestess of the Rose I bring more in an energetic sense than a Celebrant.

I am aware there are many who follow me also follow Pathways that are Sacred ...I understand this and work with you to create a "meaningful Ceremony".

Snowdrop walk, Walsingham 🪧

For an evocative winter walk head to Walsingham Abbey in Norfolk which will open for the Snowdrop walks from Wednesday 24th January 2024.

This is where snowdrops cast a new light upon the crumbling stone of the old abbey. This is a perfect spot, tucked away with a beautiful stream which can run fast and high. Glorious hellebores and aconites as well as the carpets and carpets of snow drops. Walsingham Abbey is in the centre of the village of Little Walsingham.

Walsingham Abbey is famous for the beautiful ruins of the Priory of our Lady of Walsingham, and nowadays it’s spring snowdrop walk around the ruins that stand among the lawns, with woodland and river walks extending to 18 acres.

Admission at the High Street Gate (What3words remover.dusted.reliving). Admission to the Shirehall Museum is included in the admission ticket. Access to the Museum is from within the Grounds. Dogs welcome, must be on their lead throughout their visit.

Adult £6.50, child £2.50, under 6 free.

WASSAILING
New Year is the time for wassailing the apple and pear orchards, waking up the spirit of vegetation and the land itself, and energising the move towards spring.

Today, most people think of wassailing only in connection with toasting the apple orchards. However, in the past, wassailing was a wide-spread custom associated with wishing health to people, crops and animals; apple trees were wassailed to make them bear fruit, and even bees were wassailed to make them produce more honey. Cattle were toasted to keep them healthy. The prize cow was given a special cake with a hole in the middle (a symbol of the sun) and regaled with the words: “Fill your cups my merry men all!/ For here’s the best ox in the stall!
Oh he is the best ox, of that there’s no mistake,/ And so let us crown him with the Twelfth cake!” The cake was hooked over one of its horns. In parts of Scotland, the sea was similarly honoured, with ale poured into the waves in hope this would encourage good fishing in the coming year. Wassailing the orchards usually involved either the land owner or specially selected bands of wassailers, visiting the orchard at night, selecting the oldest or most fruitful tree (known in Somerset as the Apple Tree Man) to represent the whole orchard. The tree might be beaten with sticks in order to wake it up after its winter sleep. Bread or cakes soaked in cider would be placed in the tree’s branches and the wassail song sung, then loud noises made to frighten winter spirits away from the orchard.

The word ‘wassail’ comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase Wæs hal, which was used as a greeting. Wæs means ‘to be’ and hal means ‘hale’ or ‘whole’. The greeting often accompanied the welcoming of a guest with a cup of ale or mead, and so became a toast (the correct response to which is Drinc Hale meaning "I drink to your good health") and eventually wassailing, the act of toasting someone or something on special occasions with spiced ale or wine.

Pure Love never expects us to believe in anything outside of ourselves to justify its existence.

Nor does Pure Love require labels to be hung around our neck, listing the titles of our achievements, to show who we are.

It does not require accolades, applause, adoration, ritual or ceremony.

Pure Love WILL invite sacrifice however. Sacrificing the ego personality that keeps us from ‘being in its full presence’… is essential.

It will ask us if we are ready to know ourselves … warts and all. It will require us to open into its guidance, often blindly at times, (if ego still fills our inner dialogue and emotional presence).

Pure Love WILL become our teacher, guide, greatest support, leader, and deepest confidante as we open into its presence within … and soon, as our trust deepens and our heart opens, Pure Love becomes our greatest Truth … and who we know ourselves to be.

Pure Love is not to be found, out in the world … unless firstly it is found inside ourselves, then we will see it’s reflection externally.

Pure Love can NEVER be understood conceptually, it must be felt, to be known. It is a fully committed, intimate journey with ourselves.
