We are writing to you from the Dolgellau Carnival Committee which is organised by 3 local ladies,
Annabelle Roberts, Penny Hughes and Stephanie Parkes.

We held our first carnival last year in May and it was a massive successful event which we are really proud of. We wanted to bring something back to the community of Dolgellau and I think we achieved that.

We are now in full swings of organising our second carnival for 10th May 2025 and are looking to see if any local businesses are willing or wanting to donate towards the carnival any donations would be greatly received.

Your support will help build the carnival to be bigger and we appreciate everyone’s help and support that has been shown to us

We have held the Crowning of the Carnival on the 25th January
Miss Dolgellau, Mr Dolgellau
Queen, King, Princess, Prince
Rosebud and Little Idris

Your buisness name and photo will appear on any of the carnival updates on social media of all the businesses that have supported us

As a committee we are all looking forward to welcoming you all on Saturday night at the rugby club for the crowning of the carnival!

We have 3 judges who will be judging the categories on the night.

As you arrive at the rugby club a member of the committee will give the children who have entered into their categories a sticker with a number ready for the judging.

The Event will start at 5pm 👑

Also Dj Derbs will be there with a disco 🪩

It is free entry, we will also be selling raffle £1 a ticket

The Deputy Mayor of Dolgellau and another councillor will be with us on the evening

Bore Da, Good Morning

We would like to notify last year’s Winners 2024 Dol carnival Queen King Rosebud , little Idris Prince& princesses cannot retry for the same category as they are retiring and will be asked to re-crown the new Kings Queens Prince princesses and Rosebud for Dol carnival of 2025 at The Clwb Rugby Dolgellau 25thJan they can retry next year ! Hope this is satisfactory to all involved
