Job Title - Kitchen Porter

Location - Bangor, Belfast Road

Work time - 37.5+ hours per week (generally 9-5pm)

Living Wage / appropriate to age

Job Description – To support the smooth running of the kitchen by ensuring everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. As Table 10 is an extremely busy environment, equipment such as crockery and glassware will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for our next event.

Job Duties - Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible. Wash Plates, cutlery and glassware. Items checked, bagged and stored. Load/Unload equipment deliveries. Keep the storeroom organised. Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised. Waste Management. The above reflects the main elements associated with this position. It is not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive.


Qualification/Skills/Experience – Attention to detail required. Speed. Good level of spoken English. Excellent Time Keeping.

Generally 30+ hours per week May - Oct

Generally 14+ hours per week Nov- April

Additional hours available when busy .
