Good Morning from Smarties Parties Ltd!

It’s been an early start for me today—up at 7am and out the door by 7:30am for the first delivery of the day! The roads are super icy this morning, so if you’re heading out, please drive carefully and stay warm—it’s freezing out there!

A quick reminder about caring for your balloons during this cold weather:

🎈 Your balloons are inflated and quality-checked 24 hours before I hand them over to ensure they are perfect. Once they’re with you, they’re your responsibility.

🎈 Cold weather can cause balloons to shrink or slightly deflate temporarily. Don’t worry—they’ll return to normal once back at room temperature.

🎈 Tips to keep your balloons looking their best:
• Warm up your car before collecting.
• Take them straight home into a warm room.
• Avoid leaving them in cold places like garages, sheds, vans, or cars—even for a short while.

By following these tips, your balloons will stay beautiful and party-ready!

✨ Fundraising for Firefly Cancer Awareness Charity ✨

In September 2025, at the age of 30, I’ll be running my first half marathon *the Great North Run* in memory of my amazing grandad, who sadly passed away after battling cancer.

I’m dedicating this run to Firefly Cancer Awareness Charity, a cause so close to my heart. This incredible charity provided vital support to my grandad and our family during his treatment in Sheffield, and now I want to give something back.

I know it’s just after Christmas, and times are tough for many of us. But if you could spare anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and to this fantastic charity that helps so many families in need. No rush!!

We had an absolute blast creating this Twirly Woos Themed Birthday Stack for Paddy’s special day! 🥳 But the real star of the show? The handmade Twirly Woo balloon we created, holding a cluster of helium balloons! 🎈✨

When Paddy’s mum first reached out with the idea, I’ll admit I was a little apprehensive—I promised to try my best but couldn’t guarantee the outcome. And I am SO thrilled with how it turned out! 💪 Seeing the joy on Paddy’s face made it all worthwhile.

🎄✨ SMARTIES PARTIES LTD IS NOW CLOSED ✨🎄

I’m officially taking a break to spend some quality time with my family over Christmas. We are now closed until Thursday, 26th December, and I’ll be back to respond to messages from 10am on Boxing Day.

I’ve had so many messages this evening about last-minute Christmas orders, and I’ve replied to them all as I didn’t want to ignore anyone. I’m sorry to let you down but I stopped making balloons at 7pm and am not picking up another balloon pump till Thursday.

I am now officially out of office and won’t be checking messages until I return.
