Well it was definitely a months of highs and lows but overall, Christmas for us was another one to cherish.

It was a month filled with busyness, tipi builds, illnesses, tiredness, excitement, hosting, cleaning, cooking, more cleaning and endless cold dog walks, picking up poo.

Can’t quite believe that we’re in 2025 but here we are, ready to take on whatever this year has to bring and hopefully it’ll be a cracker! 💥

Well we don’t know where 2024 went - an absolute flash of a year! Or is time just going by more quickly because we’re getting older?!

We’ve had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends…plenty of food, stress, great company, lots of overindulgence and oodles of illnesses (this flu bug was no joke!!).

We hope you have all had a break filled with gratitude for everything we do have…as that’s what ultimately makes us all happy at the end of the day!

So here are some beautiful ‘pink’ images…one of my favourite colours since having my daughter, and one that symbolises the love and appreciation we have for others, evoking feelings of thankfulness and boosting our mood!

May 2025 be one with ups and downs…as they always are…but with a heart full of contentment for the little things we can all be grateful for. 🩷

What a wonderful day this was for an incredible couple at their family farm in the Yorkshire Wolds.

We adored the finishing touches, from the funky bunting and warm florals to the swish ‘YOU’LL DO…nicely’ banner…everything had a personal stamp…something we love to see.

Earthy tones injected modern rustic vibes to their Tipi reception and boy, was it captured beautifully!

We’ve know Richard & Christine for years now and couldn’t be more grateful that they are still a monumental part of what we do! They are so bloody good that we actually plan our open weekends around their diary!

Without them, our socials, website, even our own walls would be seriously bare and we honestly can’t thank or rate them highly enough!

From the moment I met Sarah, I thought…YES, she’s insanely amazing at what she does…such a talent but also such a fabulous person (my daughter still keeps asking when she’s going to move in with us! 🥰🤣).

She absolutely transformed the Tipis from a shell to swell with her stunning florals and no one can deny her skills.

We often get asked about how to dress a Tipi for that ‘wow factor’ impression and she is the answer!

And what a weekend it was!! What started with a casual chat over a cuppa with a friend and a suggestion that her stunning home would make the perfect Tipi setting, ended in this!

The sun was out (for the first time in what felt like years!), we were all running around like caffeine buzzed lunatics and the tipis were brimming with style inspo and floral loveliness!

Thank you to everyone who was part of it and to everyone who came to meet us - we had the BEST weekend and we hope you did too?!

Well…we did a thing and got ourselves a baby polar bear!

We’ve been desperate for a pup to join our family for quite a few years now and me and the kids finally got our way! 😉

He’s so cherished and more loved than we ever thought was possible. He’s already full of charm and cheekiness, with boundless energy and a bonkers personality.

Wish us luck - this ain’t gonna be an easy ride but one that’s hopefully worth it…welcome to our crazy clan Bear! 😍

We left our jobs to escape the corporate world of dog eat dog, always satisfying someone else’s agenda…to do something that meant something….really something.

We’re not corporate giants and we don’t want to be, never will be, and sometimes that’s hard when all you see is competition…people fighting for more likes, bigger pictures, slicker videos, fresher content, newer trends, whatever!! When I’m feeling that way, I love to go back to basics. Talk more, walk more, focus on the small details, on the things I love about the job, because that’s the heart of it.

And it’s amazing how good you feel when you do these small things - even for a day - having longer conversations, making someone smile, making someone’s day…even if it’s not for yourself, but to recommend someone else, another service, or be honest with what that person needs…without benefit, without agenda, to be good and kind and helpful and honest.

It can be easy to get so consumed with the ‘gloss’ of what we could or should be. That’s not healthy or the point. What drives me is how our friends, family and complete strangers are amazed at our determination and pure passion to make this business work for us…but only for us, in our own unique way. And boy do we work for it.

Competition is ugly…unkind for the mind, toxic for the soul, maybe good in small doses but definitely not the core focus. The focus is us…our beautiful tents, our passion to share them and create epic events. Our jobs are incredible, the product is impeccable, we all do an amazing job…all of us. And we can’t do it alone…we could…but not as well and I’m truly thankful for our fellow Tipi & supplier friends…their support is undeniably invaluable.

Someone once told me in this business; ‘come on guys…the tents are enough’ and I couldn’t agree more.
