Sadly due to low ticket sales we have made the decision to cancel Saturday's Bonkers Bingo at the The Dutchman. Apologies to those who purchased tickets. We have issued full refunds and will re-schedule for the new year.

Well what can we say. Thankyou to everyone who came to The Dutchman for the match tonight. We’ve had an amazing Dutchman family throughout the tournament.
The atmosphere was amazing but it was a shame about the final result.
England played well but we can’t help but believe that without Harry Kane we had a better chance of winning.
Here’s hoping that we give the youngsters a chance in the future we can probably win a major tournament.
Hopefully we will qualify for the 2026 World Cup and we can do it all again.
Many thanks to all that have joined us over the last month.

Hi all,

My boy Sonny (he's 9) and I were talking the other week about car shows....his favourite thing in the whole world....and how good it might me to have one locally.

We have teamed up with the "Dutchman" pub in Moorends to create a Sunday car and bike meet that is inclusive to everyone, no matter make, model, year.......if it's got wheels, 2,3 or 4 and you think it's interesting, unique and you'd like to bring it then we'd like to see it.

I realise car shows are very hard to create, they require a certain amount of momentum and if this doesn't catch on then nothing ventured, nothing gained but the Dutchman has a large parking area right in front of the pub and also has tea, coffee and breakfast sandwiches at very reasonable prices.

The meets are to be held Sunday mornings 10-2 with the first one commencing on the 28th of July.

Please please please check all future meets are still on using the number on the flyer before you set off......as occasionally the pub has other events such as christenings etc and cannot host the event.

We have had a few reports of issues with our ticketing for this weekend's festival. Don't panic, you will be able to pay on the gate with cash or card.

Transport sorted!!

We will be running a free shuttle bus from various stops in Thorne up to the Dutchman.

Starting from 1pm we will be running a bus continually from the following stops:
⛵️ Staniland Marina
🌳 Thorne Park Gates (Opposite)
🍭 Piz 'n' Mix (Bus Stop)
😐 Outside Assembly Rooms

The we will return back to these stops from 9pm onwards
