Bespoke Dreams - Business Update

Hi everyone, we've not been active on this page for a while and thought we should share an update as to what's been going on.

Prior to Covid our balloon business was booming and we had 100s of customers, but the market was becoming saturated due to everyone starting up and selling balloons from home at really cheap prices and under cutting each other. The costs of products and gas was going up every month and it was proving difficult to be profitable with so much competition. We were becoming busy fools as it took up so much time so we decided to look into specialising in other areas where we could be unique.

We spent months developing our Infinity Rose products which complemented the Bespoke Gift and balloon idea. We had an amazing top quality product that couldnt be bought anywhere apart from Boutique online shops for an absolute fortune. Our plan was to open a local shop and also try to tap into the online market. But then Covid hit literally the week after we got our shop keys the world changed. Our supply chain stopped and we could no longer get flower stock which put an end to the Infinity Rose plans.

While all this was going on and a few months before Covid hit, an opportunity came up that was too good to miss so we took the decision to invest into an existing start up business, Shakes & Cakes Dessert Bar - Thorne. We've spent the last 3 years building this business which is thriving, but at the same time extremely hard work and taken up much of our time. We are still ticking over with Balloons if you would like to order anything from us, but the market is still saturated and we can't compete with big chain shops that are also selling balloons alongside everything else unfortunately.

So what's next?

We think now could be the right time to resurrect our Bespoke gift idea. Who loved our Infinity Rose products? 🌹 We would love to hear thoughts and ideas from our customers, if anyone is still around leave a comment or send us a message.
