Jak Wam się podoba seria newsów? :-) Na dokładkę, kolejny... na Reggaenwalde Festival zagra Zion Train z Wielkiej Brytanii. Z DJ Perch wystąpi wokalistka Cara oraz sekcję dętą!!!!

Jeden z najbardziej wyjątkowych dubowych projektów live na świecie, znany z dynamicznego mixu dub na scenie podczas występów z sekcją dętą i wyjątkowymi wokalistami.

Zion Train założony w Oksfordzie w 1988 roku jako sound system przez Neila Percha i Bena Hamiltona. Po przeprowadzce do Londynu w 1990 roku dołączyli Colin Cod i Dave Tench. Oryginalny skład został uzupełniony o wokalistę Molarę w 1992 roku.
Ich pierwszymi wydawnictwami były 7-calowe single „Power One i „Power Two”, które stały się hitami na scenie dubowej na początku lat 90. W 1992 roku wydali przełomowy singiel „Follow Like Wolves”, który połączył style Dub i Acid House i dał im reputację innowatorów.
Drugi album „Natural Wonders of the World in Dub”, trafił na brytyjskie listy przebojów indie w 1994 roku. Zion Train stworzyli remiksy dla setek artystów z całego świata, w tym polskich Vavamuffin, Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, Radikal Guru.
Do 1995 roku wydawali we własnej wytwórni Universal Egg, następnie podpisali kontrakt z China Records, by powrócić do własnej wytwórni w 1999.
W XXI wieku zespół wydał nagrodzony jamajskim Grammy za album „Live As One”. W ciągu ostatnich kilkunastu lat wydali jeszcze kilka innych albumów i ich dubowych czy remikserskich wersji – ostatnim jest wydany w 2021 roku „Illuminate in Dub”. Ich najnowszym wydawnictwem jest singiel „Militant Sound” z udziałem wokalistki Cary, promujący nowy, gotowy do wydania album.
Zion Train zawsze szczycił się pracą w autonomicznych, politycznie aktywnych środowiskach wraz z aktywistami, starającymi się jak najlepiej wykorzystać energię muzyki, między innymi poprzez własny Abassi Sound System.
Zagrali ponad 3000 koncertów na festiwalach i w klubach niemal w każdym zakątku świata.
