Award Winning, Adam Harvey has joined the exciting development at Owston Estate as the new Executive chef.

Derbyshire born Adam who has now lived in Yorkshire for the last 8 years and describes his cooking style as “modern British with a classic French influence” is looking forward to putting his stamp on the Doncaster food scene. 🍽️

When asked what the most exciting part of the project for Adam is, he stated “Personally for me it is the development of the kitchen garden within the historic walled garden. Being able to use a heritage asset such as the walled garden for its original purpose gives me a real sense of pride and I fundamentally believe that when growing your own produce, it gives the entire team a greater respect for that food.”

Adam’s arrival is anticipated to bring exciting new flavours and dining experiences to Owston Estate.

✨Our very own Golf Star!✨

We love to celebrate success here at Owston Hall and we also love the opportunity for a quick flex to brag about one of our own! 💪

We are really proud to announce that Tomas Laszkowicz has qualified for the European Junior Open to be held later this year at the prestigious Valle Romano and Torrequebrada golf clubs.

To qualify Tom shot a 75 in the regional qualifying round held at Leeds golf club at the beginning of October.
Tom had to overcome some major adversity after he missed his tee time due to a clerical error on the part of the organisers, once rectified it left Tom little time to prepare and he had a slightly shaky start by his standards.
Once composed Tom played the golf which we all know he is capable of making an eagle two on the seventeenth hole having driven the green and holed the putt!

Tom flies out to compete at the event, which is covered by Sky sports between 24th November and December 1st with proud Dad accompanying him.

Best of luck Tom, we know you will smash it!

🏌️‍♂️⛳️October Pairs🏌️‍♂️⛳

This past Saturday saw the start of our Autumn/Winter events schedule with 100 entrants split into 50 pairs each vying for the top spot in the October Pairs competition. All entrants battled through less than ideal conditions but it was the team of Leon Mallett and Jake Siddall that triumphed at the end of play, proving that practice does make perfect 😉

Director of Golf Jason Laszkowicz and partner Captain Kevin Norbury (Pictured below) finished somewhere near the bottom of the pile (we gave up scrolling to find their score in the end).
To add insult to injury for Jason, Son Tomas Laszkowicz & partner Thomas Barnes finished in the top 10!
Has the student now become the master?

🦕 Dino's Unexpected Hotel Adventure! 🦕

Disaster struck when one of our guests, James forgot his beloved dinosaur “Dino” at Owston Hall Hotel. But don’t worry, Dino has been living his best life while waiting to be reunited. 😄

First, Dino helped himself to some fancy afternoon tea 🍰☕—turns out he’s a fan of scones! Then, he hit the golf course 🏌️‍♂️ and, well, let’s just say his swing could use some work, but he did roar with joy every time he missed!

He even got cozy in a fluffy robe and slippers (surprisingly well-fitted for a dino!). Now he's all packed and ready to come home but not before he stopped off for a selfie with Ollie Owston!

James, Dino will have so many stories to tell when he returns and we hope next time you can enjoy all the adventures together!

Set in 150 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland.

All 14 bedrooms in the old hall, dating from the 17th Century, have been individually decorated, providing comfortable and relaxing rooms. All have ensuite, with Freeview TV, phone and complimentary WIFI. A Further 32 bedrooms are situated on the Old Stables part of the Hall and guests can enjoy Fine Dining in the light and airy conservatory. Our Leisure Suite has a Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam and whirlpool bath and also the latest Life Fitness equipment. Our new Beauty Therapist Salon offers a wide range of treatments.

Owston Hall is a Historic Listed Building and the addition of 18 Executive Bedrooms in 2007 had to be developed within rules laid down by English Heritage. The building rests gently and sympathetically with the original country house and old hall, while the interior offers the discerning guest the best in both comfort and the latest facilities.
