Fighting out of in Gainsborough, James is 21, stands 6ft 4, and began boxing simply to get fitter. That hobby quickly turned into real dedication. Five years of training and three years of fighting later, he’s now a dangerous, technical boxer with fast hands, sharp footwork, and a style you don’t usually see from someone his size.
His strengths?

• The ability to control range
• A willingness to go toe-to-toe when needed
James credits his coaches, with over 20 years of martial arts experience, for sharpening his skills and keeping him accountable. His teammates constantly push him with a mix of styles, ensuring he never gets comfortable.
Their first fight against Ash Gibson was a razor-close war that went the distance. The judges edged it to Ash, shocking James’ corner, who were convinced he’d done enough to win. That loss has driven James ever since.
Now, he gets the rematch he’s wanted all year.
And this time?
He refuses to leave it to the judges.
