Good evening to all of my amazing followers😊😊

I had a busy week last week which was great and Friday I had the pleasure of creating the wedding flowers for a wonderful customer of mine Dorrie, as she married Kev at The Old Weighing Rooms, Doncaster Racecourse. It was the first wedding of it's kind that I had done - the wedding ceremony colour scheme was white and the reception which took place in the same room later was an autumnal colour scheme. It honestly looked amazing. The team at the venue and myself and my dad had 45 minutes to turn the room around and it looked superb.

Dorrie has great taste and she knew exactly what she wanted flower wise and it worked perfectly. She wanted classy and elegant which reflects her perfectly.

The wedding ceremony had large arrangements of mixed eucalyptus, wax flower and white hydrangeas on tall silver stands. The evening designs were candelabras with a wreath base using dark ruby classic hydrangeas, orchids, leucospermum, bloom chrysanthemum, sanguisorba, hypericum, prinsberry, lotus heads, pinecone, mini pumpkins and so many different types of greenery. A top table arrangement matched the candelabras perfectly.

Today has been crazy busy and I am shattered. So many flowers have left us today and even after an early start it was non stop all day for me and my dad😜

Burgundy and peach casket spray which left us this week for a special loved one.

We are very passionate about the quality of service and flowers we provide at such a difficult time. It is our job to make this just a little bit easier for you and discuss your options to create tributes as special and personal as the loved one you have lost.

We don't ask you to choose from a catalogue, we listen to you talk about your loved one and pick out those little details to make your chosen design more personal, be it their favourite flower, colour, their hobbies, football team, film/tv programme, sweets, drink etc. Once you start talking it's amazing what people can remember about a loved one and very often there is a little story that goes with it which is so lovely for me to be a part of.

Good afternoon😊

We had a busy week again this week and it was finished off with a wedding to deliver today.

I was only asked to do the wedding flowers for an Asian wedding several days ago and had free rein on the table arrangements. The only requirement was that the arrangement for the bride and grooms table had to be impressive, it was the gentlemans only daughter so he wanted it to be spot on for her.

I decided on a mix of hydrangea, orchids, green bloom, chrysanthemum, celosia, purple statice, purple lisianthus, cerise pink gerbera and spray cars, orange gravillea and laurel, eucalyptus and soft and hard ruscus for greenery. I added the lime green amaranthus to the top table arrangement because it's form is so beautiful.

The reception was being held in a tipi and it was quite dark when we set up so my pictures do not do the flowers and colours justice and me being me forgot to take pictures of the bridal party flowers😢

Thank you to Nicola who is doing her floristry level 3 work experience with me from Doncaster college. She has put in some hard graft to help me get these ready on time😊.

Good evening, it's been a few days so I thought I better check in😊😊😊

Friday of last week was crazy busy and quite a few customers who wanted flower for Thursday were happy to wait till I had reopened on Friday to have their arrangements. Thank you so much to you all for your loyalty, I appreciate it so much.

Saturday again was busy and we then prepared for the wedding fair at Mount Pleasant Hotel on Sunday. The wedding fair was really busy and we had lots of people enquiring about 2025, 2026 and 2027. After the fair several more dates have now been filled for 2025 so I would ask anybody who would like us to create their beautiful flowers for their wedding day please contact us sooner rather than later, we do not like to disappoint but we only commit to one wedding on any one given day.

Good afternoon from my little flower shop on Beckett Road😊😊

We have just finished up for this week and it's been another busy one. It was lovely to finish today meeting a couple, Donna and Kieran who have set a wedding date for August next year. They tried on the off chance I was open and after a chat decided to book us there and then which is brilliant. Dates are fill up for next year and we have a handful for 2026 as well.

I am sharing some of the arrangements that left us yesterday and I managed to take a snap of all of them that have left us today, a fab mix of colours and flowers❤️❤️

Just a little reminder that we will be at Mount Pleasant wedding fair on Sunday 6th October. We have displayed here a few times now and for newly engaged couples and couples looking for wedding inspiration it really is a good wedding fair. ADMISSION IS FREE.

Back to business with this post..... Yesterday I did a more unusual pumpkin for a customer. Ruth has unbelieveable taste, her house is beautiful and if she ever sends a picture of something she likes I always love it. I was really pleased with the end result because I have always used traditional fresh flowers for pumpkins so this was very different. I have attached a video so the design can be seen from all angles. Pauline who won the pumpkin raffle has been to collect the pumpkin today and was a very happy bunny❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡💛💛💛
