Sculpture by the Lakes has been awarded prestigious Botanic Garden status by Botanic Gardens Conservation International 💐

This is a hugely proud and emotional moment for the whole Sculpture by the Lakes team and we hope you'll celebrate with us!

It means our gardens are recognised internationally, meeting the highest botanical and horticultural standards and making significant contributions to plant conservation.

And we're in good company! Only 7 other gardens in the UK have secured this renowned status including Eden Project and The National Botanic Garden of Wales👏

We'd like to say a massive thank you to our expert strategy committee who have helped up on this journey and and important contributions to our collections from Kew Gardens and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

Special Dorset Cream Tea Afternoon Offer at Sculpture by the Lakes

We've got a very special offer on at the moment, we're offering entry to the sculpture park from 2pm and a Dorset Cream tea; home baked scone, jam made with berries from our kitchen garden and clotted cream, served between 3pm - 4.30pm in the Cafe for £30 for two people.

A lovely way to catch up with a friend, have a stroll around the sculpture park, wander around our latest indoor gallery exhibition and have a shop in the wonderful Artisans Bazaar as well as enjoying a delicious cream tea! TONIGHT, tickets still available for our live music event She'koyokh. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful sunny evening too.

She’koyokh are ‘Britain’s best klezmer and Balkan music band’. Their evolution spans the humble origins of busking at East London’s Columbia Rd flower market to performing in the famous concerts halls of Europe including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Gasteig in Munich, London’s Purcell Room and tonight Sculpture by the Lakes Riverside Stage!

Enjoy this performance on the edge of the sculpture park with views of the water meadows, the River Frome, lakes and sculptures. We will have food from our outdoor kitchen and refreshments from our outdoor bar.

Gates open at 6pm. Tickets cost £36pp and include entry to the the sculpture park.
