Chapel Gate - Duty Manager (Part Time)
SportBU is seeking an enthusiastic and pro-active team player to support the running of the 65 acre Chapel Gate site. Following significant investment in the facilities, the operational team is growing to help oversee the smooth operation of the site.
The postholder will act as a Duty Manager on a regular shift basis ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services and procedures at Chapel Gate to the wide range of BU and community teams/clubs that are based there. The post holder will work closely with the General Manger supporting the daily operational function whilst working with the wider SportBU team in looking at how income can be maximised and efficiencies created.

Plenty of sport happening across the whole day today, with kicking the day off with a 9v9 game and the U13s Blacks take on BRS U14 Reds on Football Pitch 4 ⚽️
In Rugby, Bournemouth 2nds are playing Havant on Pitch 2 and Bournemouth 3rds take on Wimborne 3s at 14:00 🏉
Hockey fixtures happening across the whole day with both Bournemouth Men’s and Women’s playing. Women’s 2nds kick off at 15:00 🏑

We have had plenty of performance sport on today with both 1st and 2nds men’s football kick off at 2 O’clock, along with BU mens 1st rugby taking on Exeter 6s 🏉
In women’s sport, we had play Exeter women’s 2 and an early kick off for Bournemouth ladies football who took on AECC in a friendly match ⚽️
BU Women’s hockey are taking on Bristol on the hockey pitch along with some campus league football being played on the AGP 🏟️
Not to mention BU falcons performing at half time for the men’s rugby

Today is the last fixtures before Campus Sport breaks away for Christmas. We have had a few games played already this morning with an 11aside game that took place on the AGP. BU mens hockey is being played on the Astro and an Ultimate Frisby fixture between Bournemouth vs Exeter 2 that kicks off at 14.00
A massive shoutout to our groundsman .gate.bu.grounds for continuing their hard work over the past few days! Without these guys there would be no pitches to play on 😌

Unfortunately due to the non stop rain over night we have had to CANCEL both Rugby Games, that where going to take place at 2pm, between - Bournemouth 1st VS Bracknell and Bournemouth 2nds VS Alton.
