Clarendon & Westbury Community Association in Dover Kent- CAWCA runs the Community Hall Large Hall for Hire £50 for first 3 hours then £15 an hr after.

Kitchen, Car parking Activities during week. Community spirit. Alcohol allowed on premises for parties during the day and also kids parties welcome too. To hire please email [email protected]

Good morning to all in our lovely community!
Its that time of year again where we need your help in saving us up the following for our FREE craft events for Halloween!

Toilet roll tubes
cardboard boxes
news papers
white paint
black tights
or anything else you may have that will help us create the best Halloween decorations!

drop off to the hall please either Monday morning 9:30-11:30
or Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm

KCC will be resurfacing the B2011 (Folkestone road) from 26-09-2024 until 08-10-2024 . Priory station too elms vale junction.

The road will be closed between 20:00 and 05:00 each weekday. Please see KCC website for more details - the trustees 😊

Thank you so much to all who attended our annual garage safari and summer fete.
Thank you must be said to the trustees, police cadets, Cara, Mercedes and Naomi, our stall holders and our families.

However, sadly , the footfall in the hall from the community left a lot to be desired.

Did you know, the volunteers and trustees in total give over 175 hours of their time?
This included organising, planning, paperwork, shopping, clearing the site, setting up, clearing away, emails, answering social media messages, taking bookings, advertising etc?

Unfortunately the trustees have made the difficult decision to no longer hold major events from 1st January 2025.

Halloween and Christmas will be the last community events we put on for the area unless we are supported more by you.

We have strived to help anyone and everyone in our community with free dinner evenings, free school uniform, free clothing and helping anyone who needs us.
But, our volunteers are disheartened when we are not supported in return.
We will always help anyone who needs us and continue to run the hall for groups and bookings.
