When you get to shoot weddings that are chill, fun, relaxed, awesome, it was really cool that my last wedding of 2024 was….. all of those things!

I guess I should give myself a pat on the back for attracting couples that believe a wedding doesn’t have to be a magazine shoot and instead should be about just having a “darn” good time!!

There is a danger that you sound a bit ummm…. fake…. if you say things like “I just keep going to photograph great weddings” …… but it’s true. It’s really really true 💁🙃

I like to think/hope that my “vibe” of photography attracts the right people. Maybe it does, or maybe it’s that luck thing again?? Or maybe I make my own luck?? Who knows. Maybe I’ve had too much caffeine today…..

So you know that bit when you’re at a wedding at the couple are waiting to enter the room for the wedding breakfast…. and everyone has their napkins ready to wave around euphorically. You know that bit?

The question is, was this shot lucky??? Possibly. But they stopped for a kiss (didn’t know that was gonna happen btw) and I just happened to point my 2nd camera with the 85mm on it through the crowd and oh, damn, I got the shot 💁😎

You know I love a wedding in London eh! Mark & Ozlen, Marlyebone town hall followed by some photos at the Renaissance Hotel, St Pancras…. Nice, very very nice indeed!

Also let me change it up a bit from my usually heavy documentary style. I’ve always said that I love to pose a shot as well, and it gave me a cool opportunity to deliver some “modern editorial” 🙃

It’s a rainy Sunday, the glory days of summer are behind us, and I’m jealous of every couple I’ve shot recently that are probably in somewhere fancy.

In other news last week I was Hannah & Toms wedding photographer, a day which will be remembered for its glorious weather and camels. For context we were at Port Lympne zoo 🙃

Sorry Tom, you will feature but the light in the bridal suite was on point and Hannah looked like a movie star from the 50’s so I’m sharing these!! Much love 🥰
