Happy Halloween everyone!! 🎃👻

Thank you to all the lovely polite children who "Trick or Treated" us today, I'm so sorry we ran out so quickly! Will definitely have to make twice as many bags in future! 🙈

To those who have patiently awaited our re-launch, I'm sorry for the delays and unforseen circumstances, it's been quite a series of unfortunate events! 😔
However I am pleased to say it is now imminent!! 🥳

We have had our inspection and been re-awarded an FSA rating of 5, so are ready to start making yummy treats for you all again!

The new website is in working progress, but keep your eyes peeled on this page for some upcoming event information, offers, give aways and new for 2024, social media content!!

I recently had to take a huge step back in my baking for personal/work reasons and did consider shutting shop for good.
But life is back on track better than ever so I am excited to open my books again!!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but big changes are happening here! Please do take the time to read below.

I would like to take this opportunity to first of all thank all of my past brides, grooms, mums, dads and partygoers for your business and your support, the past 5 years has been a rollercoaster but I have really enjoyed having the opportunity to work with so many great people.

For many, various reasons, we have stopped the majority of services that we offer (this is for new bookings, if you already have a confirmed booking and a paid deposit then we will still be honouring your booking! So don't panic!). But have some exciting new ones to offer instead!

The main concentration here now is catering, products and bakery goods. So this has brought about a name change too!

Keep your eyes peeled for daily availability of freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, as well as great offers on event catering, sweets and edible products!

So goodbye Sophie Louise Events, you've been great, but now is time to make way for... Canapés & Crumbs! Your new local bakery and events catering company!

The past few years I have always done cakes for friends and family, and have recently decided to sell too.

The flat iced ones are done using chocolate truffle rather than icing as I know there are many people out there who are not fans of icing. These have been given the thumbs up by these said people (mainly my mum!)

Now I am not a trained cake decorator, yet, so designs are basic while I try out new skills, but can assure you (and I'm not usually one for blowing my own trumpet) the taste is all there!

Have always been complimented on my cakes so have decided to share! :)
