What an absolute blast the quiz event was! With 12 teams battling it out, the atmosphere was electric from the get-go. We kicked things off with fresh new rounds and the game-changing news that card payments were now being accepted—no more scrambling for change! But the real fun kicked in during the interval with the wildest Duck Racing challenge, where everyone was on the edge of their seats, cheering their little rubber ducks to victory.
The competition was fierce, but things took a dramatic turn when the previous champions found themselves plummeting to *minus 4 points*—and all because they forgot the golden rule: manners matter! Turns out, a little courtesy can go a long way in keeping those scores high!
But in the end, it was George's Electric Cleaner who shocked everyone and took the crown! A lucky guess on a football question sealed the deal, and they soared to victory (just like those flags being studied!)! Huge congrats to them!
On top of all the fun, we raised a fantastic £300 for David Laker charity of choice, Tommy's, so a massive thank you to everyone who took part. Let's send David all the best vibes as he gets ready to tackle the London Landmark Half Marathon—he’s running for a great cause, and we’re cheering him on all the way! What a night!
