We meet people in life, sometimes unexpectedly and they become one of your amazing friends.

Katie and I connected through our passion of alternative funerals and nature.

We both care, support and give comfort to the family when they are preparing for a funeral.

Katie connects through nature with her wild, seasonal floristry and creates beautiful coffin tributes made with foliage and blooms often gathered from the person or families garden, favourite walk and from her own garden & local woods.

She also loves to offer sprigs of herbs, for example Rosemary for the family to have with them during the funeral and as a lasting memory of the day. Greenery and herbs give off aromas that stimulate the senses and give comfort to the touch.

Katie loves creating natural funeral floristry arrangements, which are sustainable, locally harvested and biodegradable.

Seasonally harvesting with what nature provides without it costing the earth.

Sandie has years of experience as a nurse in palliative care. She has been there for the patient with her deep empathy and understanding in the last moments of their life and supporting the family in their grief.

Having been witness to so many people’s deaths she has observed the importance for patients to discuss their funeral before they die, which may relieve the stress for the families left behind when arranging the funeral plans.

There is an overwhelming list of things to do just at the time when there is so much emotion and grief. So, this is where Sandie offers her safe pair of hands to guide you through the often-daunting process of a funeral ceremony.

As a celebrant, Sandie is passionate about offering choices with an alternative funerals and ceremonies, which is personalised, to allow the family every opportunity to grieve and celebrate their loved one in a meaningful way.
