We arrived back to work to one of the kindest emails from Orla and Neil. Some of their words…

“From our very first interaction with Magnakata, everything flowed seamlessly.

Despite it being one of the wettest Saturdays in July, our guests remained oblivious, enjoying warmth, dryness, and an atmosphere filled with merriment inside the tipi. The tipis were filled with laughter, dancing, and magic memories and we owe a significant part of that to the wonderful experience you provided. Our guests were blown away and we had such lovely feedback from our friends and family about them. The Tipis were also the talk of the village!!”

Sian and Tristan sent us some photos from their colourful and wonderfully unique tipi wedding in Louisburgh a few weeks ago.

The wedding theme was 'DIY glam'. They encouraged guests to not buy anything new but rather take something they already owned or buy something second hand and jazz it up so that they felt extra fabulous for the day. They also had a costume tent with all sorts of crazy outfits and accessories, face paint and glitter.

Sian’s dress was second hand which she spray painted and added pom poms. She found a second-hand, equally elaborate dress for her daughter Fia and spray-painted it the same colours. Tristan's outfit was a second-hand Indian-style wedding blazer with spray painted trousers and gold painted shoes!

“It was a great day and our guests really leant into the theme and all the madness! I think everyone was covered in glitter and face paint for several days. We got so many compliments on the tipis - they definitely stole the show!”

Thanks Sian & Tristan- it looked like a very fun wedding day!

We had the pleasure of providing some tipis for the .ie festival last weekend.

You can spot one of our giant hats with all the sides raised beside the main stage, acting as a shelter for some special guests. 🎤

Behind the scenes at events like this are fascinating. So many amazing suppliers & people coming together to make the magic happen. Well done .ie 👏🏻👏🏻💫
