We're back! Tomorrow morning November 5th 9.30-11. If you've thought about coming along, please do, you'll see we're a friendly bunch, we've got plenty of toys for the little ones and plenty of hot drinks, biscuits and chat for the adults.
No charge, although a small donation towards the tea, coffee and biscuits is always appreciated.

SVH would be very grateful for anyone able to help for an hour to tidy up after the bonfire / fireworks. From 11am. Jobs include taking down the security fencing and safety barrier, vacuuming the seminar room, putting chairs away, filling the glass washer and putting the sound system away.

The Skipsea Village Hall bonfire and fireworks event takes place tonight!

As we are sure you appreciate, fireworks can produce a large amount of noise. We would be grateful if the community share information of the event with those who may not have seen it advertised so as to minimise the impact on animals / pets.

Tomorrow, bonfire and fireworks!

We're looking for volunteers to help out with building the bonfire from 11am on Saturday. We are also looking for a few more volunteers to help out with car parking and in the kitchen during the event. Volunteers receive free entry and one free drink at the bar in return. PM us if you are interested.

Great Newsome Brewery have delivered again... ...literally!

The very appropriate 'Plotters Gather' will be on tap alongside the ever popular Sleck Dust ale, North Bank lager, and Dudda's Tun cider at our annual bonfire and fireworks event this Saturday.

The bar at Skipsea Village Hall, or as we affectionally know it 'Castle Tavern', is stocked at ready to go for Saturday's Village Fair and open air open mic. Here's snippet of what we have available... We have North Bank craft lager on tap from Great Newsome Brewery alongside their Sleck Dust blonde ale. North Riding Brewery have supplied us with Cascade, an American style IPA with their Mosaic ale available in bottles. New to Castle Tavern, on hand pull, we have Dudda's Tun original and sweet apple cider - yes draught cider! We could still do with a couple more people to help out behind the bar on Saturday. On this morning! Come and have some breakfast, support your local playpark and pick up some delicious cake!

Unfortunately there has been some vandalism take place at the village hall. This took place on the 22nd of February at approximately 23:08 by two people on bikes. They kicked the car park lighting causing the top of them to break off. The microphone from the CCTV clearly shows this take place.
