The buzz began in December 2023 when Dubai-based influencer Maria Vehera shared a TikTok video enjoying this indulgence, which garnered over 100 million views. This viral moment sparked international curiosity and demand, leading to numerous recreations and adaptations. Despite its widespread fame, the original “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” bar remains exclusively available through Deliveroo in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This exclusivity has only heightened its allure, with enthusiasts eager to experience the authentic taste.

For those unfamiliar, the Dubai Chocolate Bar is more than just a dessert; it’s a fusion of traditional Middle Eastern flavours and contemporary chocolate craftsmanship, offering a sensory experience that’s both novel and nostalgic. Whether you’re a chocolate connoisseur or simply curious about the latest culinary trends, this treat promises a delightful journey for your palate.

A Heartfelt Thank You and a Sincere Apology

Valentine’s Day was our busiest day yet, and we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who entrusted us with their special moments. The overwhelming demand was unprecedented—our florists worked tirelessly to create beautiful arrangements, and we even brought in extra drivers to help manage the surge in deliveries.

However, Fridays are already our peak days for online grocery orders, with all delivery slots consistently booked to capacity. Balancing this with the exceptional volume of Valentine’s flower deliveries proved more challenging than anticipated. Additionally, the restaurants we supply ordered extra produce in anticipation of a busy evening, further stretching our resources. Despite our best efforts, some flower deliveries were delayed, with approximately 30 orders arriving later than we aim for. To add to the day’s challenges, one of our vans broke down, affecting six orders.

We understand that receiving Valentine’s flowers later in the day isn’t ideal and may have impacted your celebrations. While we haven’t received any complaints, we acknowledge that if you were affected, your disappointment is valid, and we are truly sorry.

We are committed to learning from this experience. We’ll be reviewing our processes to better manage overlapping high-demand services in the future, ensuring we can meet all our customers’ expectations more effectively.

What an incredible day we've had today delivering flowers!
We've had extra vehicles and drivers to cope with the demand. In 27 years we've never seen it like this at Valentines Day!
The last 30 orders are just going onto the vans now so we are hoping all deliveries will have been made by 5pm
We want to thank you all whether you have walked in to the shop or had a delivery. These are challenging times at the moment and days like this are what keeps us going and remaining positive.

Well what can we say! We have completely sold out of the Dubai Chocolate it's gone crazy even had a celebrity in yesterday buying it! Mr Feargel Sharkey popped in much to our surprise and bought some!
But the good news is our top buyer Chris Johnson has managed to get a HUGE delivery for tomorrow (Friday 14th) just in time for Valentines
We will continue to limit it to 3 bars per customer just so we can share the love for now.
