A change of Artiste for this week’s concert due to ill health.

Our President, Andrew Nix will be with us to celebrate the Club’s 40th anniversary, thank you to him for playing at short notice.

Please come along and celebrate with us. The club has enjoyed 40 years of well attended concerts at a few different local venues. It was formerly known as North East Derbyshire Organ Society.

We wish Nicholas Martin a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him on 11 September.

We’re enjoying some wonderful music tonight with Michael Wooldridge.

He started the first half with tunes from The Sound of Music and ended with an Al Jolson medley.

The second half began with Liberty Bell, a great 6/8 march and now we’re enjoying music from West Side Story. Thank you for another fabulous concert Michael 🎹🎶

We have learned of the sad passing of one of our long standing members, Irene Crookes who passed away on Tuesday, 19 September.

Her daughter Linda has been in touch with details of her funeral which will take place on Wednesday 4 October at 12.30 in Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium, Sheffield S8 0HP and afterwards at The Chantry Hotel, Dronfield, S18 1QB at approximately 1.30pm.

They say that anyone is welcome just to The Chantry if they can't make it to the Crematorium.

Irene was well loved at our club, one of the nicest ladies you could wish to meet and she will be missed at our concerts.

Our condolences go to her family and friends.
