Our last act to introduce you to is Crossroad Devil!

Crossroad Devil are a Blues duo from Dumfries. Rory Nelson is joined by Bob Clements who both play in local Blues outfit, Chasin' The Train, who have been playing the local area and beyond for a number of years now. Rory also played a set with our very own Ali Donowho back on our very first Open Mic back in 2020. We are very happy to have him back playing for us again with Bob Clements.

Its Good Friday you say?

Well it looks like were going to have to make this post EGG-stra special.

For tonight's easter Open Mic we are lucky to have such an EGG-ceptional line up of performers.

Unfortunately we have had one of tonights performers pull out so our very own Ali Donowho is taking their place, so we are actually making him work tonight!

The next act we are meeting are Way Up

Way Up are a Quirky three piece band from the area who will be giving us a set full of original music. Consisting of John Bremner on Bass, Scott Kerr on Guitar and Vocals and Peter Fergusson on Drums. They are sure to give us a great set here at the Theatre Royal.

Originally from Leeds, now living in Dumfries & Galloway, Jesus and the Aubergines are a unique duo who play covers from The Jesus & Mary Chain along with The Augustines in their own demonstrative way. We are really looking forward to their set, it will be an experience.

The Theatre Royal Open Mic is pleased to announce that our next event will be on the 15th April!!

All Acts will be announced soon!

Due to running costs, we have taken the difficult decision to charge for this event. The Open Mic Nights are still a non-profit event but we must cover the rising cost of using the facilities. We still want these nights to be free of charge and we strive to look for solutions where we can make this happen.

Tickets will be £5 and will be available soon from the Theatre Royal website and from the Theatre's Box Office.
