We are excited to be hosting our Wedding Open Day on Sunday 3rd of September, so if you are yet to decide on a venue for your wedding celebrations we recommend you come see us, we guarantee you wont be disappointed, who knows, we could just be the venue for you!

Our venue offers something completely unique to other venues in the area with our gorgeous riverside setting, where on days when the weather is fine, you can have your ceremony take place there, not forgetting to mention the amazing photo opportunities this offers!

The hotel itself boasts character with its rustic features and charm, and with 21 bedrooms and further accommodation available in our 2 onsite holiday cottages you can extend those celebrations for as long as you wish. (Subject to availability).

Our newly refurbished marquee has an elegant, clean and crisp finish which provides the perfect canvas for all of your individual styles and tastes. In the day the marquee can provide seating for up to 120 for dining and up to 160 in the evening.

Some late availability dates are still remaining to be snapped up, and looking ahead into 2024 and beyond, the availability is still very good.

Light up your Venue / After the Beep

Light up your venue was formed in 2016 after realising there was a gap in the market around the Dumfries & Galloway area. We decided to create a product that was unique to us – so we created the 8ft love heart – there isn’t another one like it. We decided to then grow our business and started to supply LED Starlit dancefloors and various other lighting props for weddings, parties, celebration dinners and corporate events. All our 4ft wooden light up letters are made in-house using high-quality materials from sustainable sources, and are delivered and installed with care by ourselves. After the Beep is an audio guestbook that lets guests leave authentic, funny, serious, drunken or sentimental voicemails at your wedding or party.
