I've taken to a pre-ceremony Mexican Wave just because they make me laugh! Here's Friday's one at Mabie House Hotel for Scott and Laura's really beautiful wedding. I have known Scott since he was a wee boy and you'd struggle to find a nicer guy! Laura is a gorgeous human too and they make a great team with their wee blended family 👪

I'm like a magpie - I'm drawn to colourful shiny things - or is that a crow? I'll do the jokes. Pauline & Jules had a VERY fabulous colourful wedding yesterday at @gretnahallhotel and I just had to make a really clunky TikTok video to show it off! See Michael in the gorgeous pink suit? I made him wear my rainbow star @tattydevine necklace for the duration of the ceremony! (I secretly worried he'd leg it and I'd never see it again 😜). Photos of the newlyweds to come.

Teamwork makes the dream work! Today has been bittersweet. We said goodbye to a lovely friend, which meant I had to invoke the HSS Promise and voila the Buchan stepped into the breach to marry two fabulous people I was due to marry in Glasgow. So today, Matthew, for one day only, Jennifer Buchan IS ... LINDSEY MASON ROSS! 😂

Chocolate factories are great places to have weddings for many reasons. Especially because CHOCOLATE. David and Emma didn't want any fancyschmancy stuff like readings or poems or handfasting so they toasted each other (and their marriage obvs) with shots - huzzah! I was tempted to get them to throw the glasses at the wall afterwards but I stopped myself. I'm nothing if not restrained 👀.
Today's necklace is probably not the best to wear outside because it catches the light and I was worried that planes would be diverting from Prestwick to land on the A75. (I said that line to anybody who would listen. They seemed to enjoy it, especially the hot patootey* that is photographer @duncanireland who indulged me by laughing) 🥰 Thank you for watching my infomercial. Exit through the gift shop. *I'm not entirely sure what a hot patootey is but I think Duncan is one.
To be fair they made it really easy for me! The stars aligned: K&F gave me some great material to write their story with, fab venue and staff, amazing guests totally up for it with ALL THE ENERGY, great photographer @clairefleck, great piper and the sun was shining! We nearly raised the roof off @neidpath_castle though. I doubt I'll be invited back 🥴
