These photos popped up on my memories. I took them around 6am, on a freezing cold morning 7yrs ago, when I was on set for a film called The Wife starring Glenn Close and Johnathan Pryce. I was making food as props. I worked with them at several different locations over multiple days and it was great fun. I've never actually watched the film to see if any of my food made the cut 😀. We were on location at The House On The Shore and as you can see the views are stunning. ♥️

My kitchen porter 😉 and I had a fantastic week in Mull recently. We were cooking for a lovely Family of 24 in Knock House on Benmore Estate. We managed to do some exploring as well, what a special little Island. First time in Mull and hopefully not the last. ♥️

The view from the kitchen at Dalswinton Village Hall. The lovely couple were very lucky with the weather at the beginning of July and had post ceremony drink and picnic basket nibbles at the Journey Garden behind the little red church, before heading round to the hall for dinner and dancing. xx

This was the bird's eye view from the kitchen a few weeks ago. A relaxed, retro, eco friendly afternoon tea party for the newly weds. Any left over food and compostable cups, plates etc were buried in their garden to help the flowers grow. ♥️

It wasn't exactly roast dinner weather, but the happy couple asked for a roast banquette for their wedding meal. They celebrated with close family, friends and full bellies! Fresh local produce ♥️

I went to check out The Journey Garden behind Dalswinton Little Red Church today. Weather permitting we'll be serving picnic basket canapes there next month. What a beautiful tranquil place and the views are amazing. Xx

Grazing tables are a really nice alternative to a finger or fork buffet. They're a good way of having lots of variety on your menu. This was one I did for a 50th birthday celebration this weekend. Happy birthday Nicola!
