✨ 20 Days until the Confetti Wedding Awards ✨

I can’t wait to attend the gala night and connect with lots of different Scottish wedding suppliers 🥳

It feels so good to be recognised as a finalist after only one year in the industry as a bridal hair specialist 🫶🏼

Rome wasn’t built in a day 🙌🏻

From where we started with long natural roots and box dye black ends, to finally achieving a highlighted blonde look 🫶🏼

Appointment 1: I opted for a caramel balayage for the first step as I knew the ends would lift far warmer than the roots!

Appointment 2: I scattered highlights throughout the whole head to break up the root, but I was still having trouble shifting the warmth from the ends 🥲

Appointment 3: I gave the hair a good chop to get most of the old box dye affected hair, giving me a much easier canvas to work with. Then I did a full head highlight, root tap and toner which turned out lovely! 🥳

Not everyone will need as many steps, but most of the time if the hair is compromised in any way, you should expect a longer process to blonde. This particular client has naturally curly, coarse hair which is prone to breakage so i had to be as careful as possible to preserve her condition. 🫶🏼

34 weddings in 2024.. And just like that.. my first full wedding season is over! 🥹

I am so grateful for every single bride that chose me as their wedding hairstylist this year. I just feel so at home behind that chair, helping you feel your absolute best for your big day 🥰

This job is proof that you can get paid for doing something you love! It’s so much fun, even with all the pressure and stress (and admin 🙈) that comes with being a wedding supplier. I’m a lucky gal! 🫶🏼
