In the beginning....

From humble beginnings as a roadie in the 60's for top local bands such as Poor Souls (Dougie Martin) and the vikings (later becoming The Average White Band) to personal manager to The Rite Time (Stuart Cuthbert, later to marry Sandra from Brotherhood of Man fame). After meeting the areas top promoter at that time (Andy Lothian Jnr) who first booked The Beatles in the Caird H

all - Dundee; I was suddenly working with all the top bands who Andy booked to appear in his famous dance hall known as The Top Ten Club, or The Pally to the locals. With great names as Spencer Davis, The Searchers, The Tremelo's, Lulu, Cat Stevens and even The Bee Gees to name but a few. After a tour of Germany inclusing the famous Star Club where The Beatles were discovered, I had the pleasure of meeting a selection of great groups like Chicken Shack, Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin fame. I was the only one who had a van and that allowed me the pleasure of meeting Robert Plant when I toured Scotland with his group The Band of Joy. After years as a Roadie and Manager it was my progression into the world of promoting that became my pedigree and my full time occupation. I have handled some of the top named bands on tour including a great selection of tribute bands. Our office also organises events for pubs, clubs, theatres, concert halls, wedding parties and corporate functions. We supply top musicians and bands for the area , personally selected to make your night out one to remember. All of our promotions include a full marketing campaign including posters, flyers and the local media (radio, newspapers etc). We can provide full P.A systems and light shows to suit all of your requirements. We also have professional engineers and sound operators. We are available 24/7 with a full emergency contact list should disaster strike as it so often can. Friday sees our Karaoke night with the girls the Saturday its the Scotland game followed by our live band Blue Chill play all the sixties hits of the day plus wait for it we may have a surprise for a band kicking of an early session look out folks details to follow cheers !!

WHAT A WEEKEND WERE HAVING IN CLUB 83 !!!

Yes this weekend kicking of Friday with our karaoke girls then Saturday the fabulous "" ELAINE STEWART BAND"" till late and on Sunday we have the Superb "" HEADROOM "" with support from the newly formed "" SEAN FINDLY AN FRIENDS"" from 4pm till late so folks what a weekend in store in Club 83 the place to be cheers all !!

WHATS ON THIS WEEKEND IN CLUB 83 NOT TO MISS FOLKS.

Friday is our Karaoke night an all you budding singers welcome followed on Saturday with our buses leaving at 12.15 so all bars will be open also for our visiting 2 buses and on return we have our live band the superb "" ELAINE STEWART BAND """ plus our own Djs and then Sunday we are pleased to say we have the one an only live here in Club 83 "" HEADROOM "" with a full live band support from The Sean Findlay Band and guest amazing guitarist Ryann Carrol visiting thes shores all the way from China so what a weekend in store for all members guests and visitors to Club 83 !!!

After last weeks guest vocalist Mr Graham Sim (Junkyard Dogs) got to be the best front man around a superb night was had by everyone and this week its gonna be another belter with visiting musician's from all over popping in so hold fast all you guys as your in for a superb treat def not to miss put names up later Cheers!!

Kicking of tomorrow night is our Live band an open mike night for all then Friday we have 3 buses leaving for Motherwell so bars open b4 and after the game plus Karaoke in the lounge and the Superb Alan Morgan as "" CHER "" to a sell out show in the Manhattan Suite followed by our live band in the lounge "" The Junkyard Dogs "" plus our very own Djs too so what a few nights in store for all cheers Club 83 !!

Well what a weekend in store kicking of on Friday with private party in Manhattan Suite then Karaoke in the Lounge Bar on Saturday we have Pat Ferris Remembrance Night and in The lounge we have an choir popping in b4 and after their concert followed by our Live band "" Rockshift "" and Djs till late the Sunday we have United at home ya hoo to Ranger so bars open b4 and after the game with our very own Karaoke ladies so what a weekend in store in Club 83 folks !!

Tonight kicks of with our Karaoke so all welcome next door we have Piperdam night out the Saturday it Live band night with "" BLUE CHILL "" playing all the sounds of the sixties not to miss and Sunday we 2 buses for staff and friends on a cabaret day out then back to the Club for the Scotland game and followed before and after the game its Karaoke time again folks so don't miss out be in thats Club 83 !!!

Friday we have Company Staff night out on Saturday we have our live band "" BLUE CHILL"" playing all the sounds of the 60s music so if that area is for you then Saturday is the place to be.

WELL THE WEEKEND IS NEAR ON US SO CLUB 83 IS SORTED FOLKS.

Kicking of tomorrow we have our Karaoke night from early for all you budding singers and friends then on Saturday wait for it its a double band day with the boys back in town they are "" THE HAPPY MURDIES "" with the boys Murdie and Wullie from 6pm till 8pm followed by "" THE JUNKYARD DOGS ""plus our great new sound system for all the music you like to hear from our own Djs so a day not miss !!
In the Manhatten Suite we have a party and in our sports bar we have the one an only Mr darts man himselfs remembrance day.
Then Sunday sees United away to Hearts so buses leaving the club then on return we have our own ladies on the Karaoke so hope celebrations are on the cards for all our members guests and friends in Club 83 !!!
