Was sent this by Brian Christie “The People’s Choice” earlier this week regarding his attempts to get in touch with his tag team partner Kevin Jakobs. As of this moment, Brian nor us, have heard from Jakobs.

We are 24 hours away from HELL FOR LYCRA 22!!!!

Just a wee FYI for everyone attending the event on Saturday. Here is all you need to know......

Saturday 25th October. Ward Road Gym, Ward Road. Dundee DD1 1NE.

Special start time of 1pm but we have a pre show match where the entrances will start at 12.40pm approx.

We aim to finish the event before 4pm approx.

Doors will be open earlier than advertised. 12.15pm approx.

Ticket prices on the door are Adult £14, Child £10, Family of Four (two adults 2 children) £45.

Ticketsource prices are Adult £12, Child £8 and Family of Four £35.

There will be merchandise and tuck shop items on sale.

There will be a raffle where you can win a mask or t-shirt and tickets for an event of your choosing!!

You can pay cash or card for any purchases.

Regarding parking...the venue is in an L*Z Zone but there is pay and display parking in the Overgate and the NCP car park on North Lindsay Street, both are a short walk away from the venue.

There MAY be limited free parking on Constitution Road. There is also limited pay and display parking in Ward Road itself.

Ward Road is on a bus route and is at the most a 5 minute walk from the city centre not far from McManus Galleries. There is also a Taxi rank outside it.

We also have sensory bags for those who may require them with fidget toys and ear defenders inside but we have a limited number. These are free to use but we ask that you return them after use.

Match Announcement time again!!!

Tag team rematch.

NERD vs NIL

Two newish tag teams on the Scottish scene, both trying to make names for themselves and both hoping to reignite the tag team division here in SWE.

NIL in their first appearance as a team defeated NERD in match of the night the last time these two faced off. NERD were quick to make a request for a rematch which was promptly denied.

However NIL offered them a rematch if they could defeat a tag team of their choosing and NIL picked the Profits of Doom. NERD got the upset against the big men but it came at a cost. After the match the Profits laid out Kevin Jakobs injuring his ribs. Jakobs tried to get involved in the show closing brawl but injured himself further.

We caught up with the Profits after the match and it became clear they were paid to hurt NERD and they succeeded and were well compensated for their troubles.

We have been apprehensive about posting this match as no one has heard from Jakobs since the event not even his best friend Brian Christie. “The People’s Choice” assures us though, that the match will go ahead.

Will Kevin Jakobs appear? or will Brian Christie have to go it alone against a formidable team who believe they are among the best young talents in the country and deserve to be next in line 😉 and are willing to do anything it takes to prove it!!

TJ Rage vs The Heavy Artillery Rory Shaw

This battle has been brewing for a long time and it will come to a boil on saturday!

They've beaten each other across buildings, interrupted each others bouts and did everything they can to one up each other since TJRage took issue with Rory Shaw's bullying of SWE staff and talent when things didn't go his way.

This is a fight we are trying to keep inside the ring as we cant even begin to estimate the potential damage these two men can cause.

Find out on Saturday what will happen when two of SWE's biggest and best face off at Hell for Lycra 22!!!

This is an afternoon event so parking is limited there are however plenty of car parks nearby and the venue is on a bus route. Ward Road Gym is very close to dundee city centre, more or less just around the back of the Overgate!

Match Announcement.

Making this official. Irn Dru Marshall has been reinstated at the behest of Johnny Wilson (formally John Hexx) and the two will clash in a Last Man Standing Match. The only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent, keeping them down for a count of 10. Anything goes in this match.

We were worried about this one but Johnny was adamant that this is the bout he wanted. Dru has accepted the challenge and this one can go anywhere. This time however we will have additional safeguards in place to prevent a repeat of the last time these two faced off.

This WILL be the final chapter in a rivalry that started a year prior at Hell for Lycra 21. One despite the quality matches and entertainment its given us is a feud we cant wait to see the back of. For everyone's sakes!
