5Star Sport create and deliver Rugby and Hockey Easter and Summer Camps, private small group session

5Star Sport is a rugby and hockey sports provider including Easter and Summer camps and private Coaching Sessions. We provide a fantastic opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities aged 8-16 to develop their all round game ahead of a new season. There will be a focus on individual skills and game situation training, with training specifically tailored to the needs of each individual, all deli

vered by some of the best coaches in Scotland. There will also be the unique opportunity for the players to have their progress monitored during the week with video analysis and there will be special guest appearances from current and former internationals throughout. Our only requirements are that the player wants to improve and, above all, enjoy their rugby and hockey

💥 It was an inspiring day at 5Star as we had the current 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland men’s 🏉rugby player Grant Gilchrist and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿women’s rugby player Shona Campbell for Coaching and Q&A. Shona also plays rugby 7’s for Great Britain. 🇬🇧

💥 What came across more than anything is that even whilst playing sport at the highest level, you still have to enjoy it! Do not let the fear of making mistakes hold you back!

💥It was also clear that even playing sport at the elite level, you still have the same emotions as you do at school. It is how you manage your emotions that makes the difference between the good and the great!

🎂It’s the final day tomorrow and we always like to finish with a bang! You will be delighted to know my mum is back with her delicious cakes, along with coffees ☕️ and teas from 3:15pm. Games will KO at 3:30pm, with end of camp presentation at 4:00pm! 🏆

What were we saying yesterday about smiles on faces….today was a day FILLED with Sport 🏉 🏑, Sunshine ☀️ and Smiles 😊

It was topped off by a visit from Frankie and his ice cream 🍦 van - it did not disappoint.

💥Tomorrow is an ATTACK focus for hockey and rugby, which is always an exciting day for all our 5Star players. It gives them the opportunity to try new skills and go out and express themselves with no fear of making mistakes.

It was a brilliant first day at the Dundee 5Star camp 🏉🏑!

💫The first day is always a bit nerve wracking but also exciting, as we hand out the new kit! 🎂It was Molly’s birthday today as well…..it is actually tomorrow but we got too excited and any excuse for cake 😝

😊It gives us incredible joy to see so many smiles on faces, playing sport with their friends. After a long summer, to see all the kids back together is extremely special. There is nothing better!

What a camp at Kinross…..Can you believe that it was bright blue skies everyday! ☀️😜

The players were absolutely outstanding as always and they are a real credit. We absolutely love coming to Kinross, as it is a proper rugby club and it now has an amazing new clubhouse. More than this it has great people involved from the players to the parents and to the coaches. None more so than big Arab Robert Allan who kept our 5Star coaches well fed with ham and cheese sandwiches throughout the camp! He goes above and beyond everytime and it does not go unnoticed! 🤩

Rugby is an amazing team sport and it brings people together like no other. To see young people having great fun with their friends, doing a sport they love, for 3 full days only reinforces that! 👏🏻👏🏻

A special mention to Coach Toddy, Rosco and Keats. An incredible effort from you all and we cannot thank you enough!

On to Dundee next week for our Rugby and Hockey Camps! We can’t wait.🏉🏑

It was an awesome Monday Masterclass session last night on DEFENCE. Doesn’t matter what age you are or what level you play at, there are always ways to make your tackle technique safer and more effective. This was our focus along with staying connected as a line in defence. Do these two things well and unless you are playing New Zealand, you will compete in any game! 👍💪🏻😁

What a fantastic couple of days in Kinross last week to finish our 5Star Easter camps off in style!

🏉🤩We always love coming to Kinross, where you always get a warm welcome and the best ham sandwiches (thanks🙏 Rab Allan) They are a great bunch of players and it has been fantastic to see them develop over the last few years. 👏
The new clubhouse is also looking superb!🥳

Next up is our MAY MASTERCLASS series which provide the chance in small group settings every Monday in May to really accelerate and hone your 🏉 skills.

👏👏👏👏🏑What an amazing 3 days at our 5Star Easter Hockey and Rugby Camps in Dundee.

There was rain again ☔️today but it did not dampen the spirits. All the players were amazing throughout and made the most of all the coaching expertise and energy, which makes it all worthwhile! 🙏

👏What an uplifting day at 5Star today! The undoubted highlight was a special appearance from McCoy aka Sabre from Gladiators. She was amazing with all the kids and her passion for sports, health and fitness really shone through ❤️

A true inspiration for all the kids and we were so lucky that Sheli took time out of her busy schedule to come and see us! Most of the players couldn’t quite believe she was actually standing in front of them but they still asked some brilliant questions 👏🏻👏🏻

All the players were amazing today in challenging conditions! 🏉🏑☔️🤩 well done I am really impressed with you positive attitude 🤩

❤️Some of the skills on display throughout the day were a joy to watch…There was also a great energy and attitude from all the players, which also makes it a joy to coach! 🤩

⭐️The 5Star Sport camps are all about giving our players the best experience possible. There are lots of different parts that contribute to making this reality.

⭐️Far out in front it is our amazing coaches, with their expertise and enthusiasm. This combined with the structure of our camp, gives us a fantastic foundation.

⭐️Behind that, there are many different elements which make up an amazing camp and one my personal favourites is the… STASH, MERCH, THREADS or as most people know it….sportswear. 🤩What a 5Star session at Kinross this week! The heavens opened ☔️ but it did not dampen the spirits! A fantastic group of players and coaches, which only reinforces to me what an amazing team sport rugby is 🏉 ❤️It is more important than ever for a young person to feel part of something. It doesn’t have to be rugby and it doesn’t have to be sport, it could be a dance group, musical theatre, art, the list goes on. Anything that gives you that sense of belonging ❤️ I was buzzing after seeing 13-16yr olds running about in the pouring rain on a cold Wednesday night with smiles on their faces and full of energy. Above all, everyone in it together….
