Because we care passionately about food provenance, we only w

ork with the people who hunt, fish, grow and forage for Scotland’s tastiest produce. Travelling around in our lovingly-restored and trusty old (1961!) Series 2 Land Rover, we source food directly from local game-dealers, farms, and Scotland’s tastiest hedgerows, so that as the food seasons change, our dishes do too!

A throwback to this time last month when we were lucky enough to cater the lovely Katie and Steve's wedding. This Harvest Moon beachside wedding was every stylist's dream with beautiful details everywhere you looked.

They opted for one of our luxury grazing tables for their drinks reception which featured many of our springtime favourites and for main course, we served up our popular roast Puddledub pork shoulder.

We are lucky enough to work at some of the most beautiful wedding and event venues across Scotland and one of our all time favourites is the gorgeous Guardswell Farm in Kinnaird.

Sitting on a hilltop, looking out onto the River Tay, Guardswell Farm is the perfect rural getaway! We love doing canape receptions on their festoon-lit lawns and dinners in their beautifully bright and spacious cattle court.

Over the weekend we were lucky enough to cater the wedding of Connor and Allison at their beautiful family home in Roy Bridge. Their menu featured one of our new dishes, a caramelised red onion crostada, which is quickly becoming a Wild Rover favourite. This was served up with whipped Knockraich Farm crowdie, herbs and chilli, hummus with crispy chickpeas, Great Glen Charcuterie green pepper venison salami and homemade rosemary focaccia.

We love working with Scottish Pork and it doesn't come much better than Puddledub. Their pigs are bred and reared on the farm, fed on barley and bedded on loose straw which they grow in their fields. Tom supplys us with all the pork used in our sausage rolls and our main course roasts such as this winning dish - Roast Puddledub pork shoulder with Thistly Cross Cider, apples and sage, served with blackberry jelly and Pittormie Farm garlic mash. A few weeks ago we hosted our Feburary menu tasting event, where we welcomed over 30 of our wonderful 2024 wedding couples.

We kicked off the meal with one of our grazing tables where guests tucked into a selection of Scottish charcuterie, cheese, dips, fennel and blood orange salad and our Wild Rover focaccia. This was followed by a range of dishes from our 2024 seasonal menus including BBQ-style Peelham Farm organic beef brisket and Puddledub pork shoulder, and a zingy lemon tart.

Our lovely head baker Anna also created some delicious wedding cakes for our guests to sample including a gluten free white chocolate and raspberry cake and also a classic carrot cake.

We cannot wait to cook for you all again in what is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting 2024! 🎉

We believe that delicious wedding food is for absloutely everyone no matter the dietary restriction or allergy, and we have worked to create a menu that demonstrates inclusivity and variety.

The majority of our menus are completely gluten free and It isn't unusual for us to create a fully vegan wedding menu too!

Here are some of our delicious offerings which are both fully vegan and gluten free!

Our hand-carved wooden bar unit comes with all required glassware, equipment and drink garnishes as well as our friendly service team to pour you your tipple of choice. We work with local independent wine merchant L'Art du Vin for all things grape related, and for the rest, we work with small distillers and Scottish brewers to showcase and celebrate Scotland’s booming drinks industry.
