⛈️💨 BOUTIQUE CLOSURE 💨⛈️

Due to the recent updates from Fife Council and the Red Weather Warnings that are now in place for tomorrow, Friday 24th January, we have made the decision to close our Dunfermline boutique for the day.

This is for the safety of our customers and our staff 🤍

We have already reached out to all of the brides who had appointments scheduled but if you need anything before we reopen on Saturday we will be on hand answering emails and messages from home.

Unfortunately due to the severe weather warnings in place for tomorrow, Friday the 24th January, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our open evening.

With the advice being not to travel unless necessary we have everyone’s safety in mind as we make this choice.

Instead, we will look forward to welcoming everyone next week on Friday the 31st January between 6pm & 8pm!

Let’s hope the weather holds!

This does mean that there will be traffic restrictions in place in the city centre which will be affecting us here on East Port. We will be open as usual but road closures from 12pm will affect parking. If you are visiting us for an appointment on Sunday we suggest parking at either Viewfield Terrace, the Kingsgate Multi-Storey or a short walk away at Leys Park if you would prefer to take advantage of the Free Parking! 💃🏻

FOR ONE DAY ONLY on the 6th January we’ll be opening our doors and giving brides the opportunity to find their Dream Dress for a fraction of the cost. Whether you're in need of a last-minute dress or would love a designer name at a rock-bottom price - look no further! All ex-sample Bridal Gowns will be available on the day for £700 or less! With amazing samples in sizes 10-22 this is an event that is not to be missed. We'll be giving you sneak peeks and more information about the event closer to the date, but for now - pencil this one in your diaries because it's going to be big! No appointments are necessary for anyone who wants to attend on the day as this is a “Walk-In” Event. Our goal at Kudos is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our customers, where we can help find exactly what you are looking for. Whether you are a bride, bridesmaid, or wedding guest, here at Kudos we ensure you will receive the best of our attention and guidance. At Kudos we believe that choosing your wedding gown is one of the most exciting decisions you will ever make and we want to do everything we can to make the process enjoyable from start to finish.

Kudos first opened their doors back in 2007, based in a rather humble store on Bruntsfield Place in Edinburgh. The brain child of co-owners Jackie Kelso and Michelle Scott, the shop quickly launched to success and in 2009 the team moved to bigger premises on Morningside Road.

Soon enough it became clear that the unique atmosphere, impeccable service, and beautiful designer gowns were of great appeal to Scottish brides; with women travelling from all across the country to visit us, it became evident that opening up a second store in Fife was naturally the next step.

In 2012 the Dunfermline store opened, and Michelle and Jackie have never looked back. Kudos has a reputation providing the highest level of customer service to Brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests alike, and continue to uphold that reputation every day.
