refurbishment project at the
Ballymena, including the purpose built
Wedding Pavilion, allowing
civil marriage ceremonies to take place in
a stand-alone venue at the hotel. The hotel
has also renovated their function room – the
Garden Lounge is the amazing result of
recent renovation work that took place during
lockdown to provide a welcoming place for
wedding guests after their wedding ceremony,
either in the Rosspark Hotel’s own Wedding
Pavilion or from your church ceremony.
The Garden Lounge commands leafy views of
the outside gardens and, thanks to its huge
new windows, is flooded with natural light,

A Love Like No Other

There are few moments in life that are as magical as when two hearts join together in love. On a beautiful summer’s day; 2nd August 2024, Shannon Duffy and Dermot Curran celebrated their love story in front of family and friends. With St. Michael's Church in Enniskillen as the backdrop for their ceremony, and Lough Erne Resort hosting their classy reception, the day was nothing short of a dream come true. The bride, a trainee solicitor from Derry, and the groom, a principal software developer, had a day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories.

Shannon and Dermot first met in 2015 at a friend’s 18th birthday party. After hours of dancing and party fun, Dermot made a bold move, walking up to Shannon and saying, “I really want to kiss you.” As Shannon laughs now, "I guess being direct works sometimes!" This cheeky, romantic introduction sparked a love story that grew stronger over the years, despite some off-and-on moments. By 2019, the couple knew they were meant to be together forever, and their relationship flourished, leading to their unforgettable wedding day.

A Love Set in Galbally

On the 1st of April 2024, the charming village of Galbally, Co Tyrone, became the backdrop for a wedding that was nothing short of magical. Caron Brannigan and Aidan Carberry, both natives of this close-knit community, celebrated their love surrounded by 316 family members and friends. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. John's Church in Galbally, followed by a joyous reception at the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford. The day was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of memories that will be cherished forever.

Caron, a dedicated teacher, and Aidan, a talented electrician, had known each other for years, being from the same club in Galbally. However, it wasn’t until Aidan’s sister decided to play matchmaker that sparks began to fly. As fate would have it, the two were perfectly matched, and their relationship blossomed from friendship to a deep, enduring love that has lasted over twelve wonderful years.
