Wonder what delights we have pickling for tonight’s dinner service. Had a cheeky wee day in Dunoon collecting fresh sea water for my signature beach water smoked salmon.

Late last night the local caught wild salmon was marinated in devils staircase gin brine, will be ready to smoke under the Connel bridge later this afternoon.

Easily my favourite hot smoked salmon dish 😋

Been a slow start to the season, this is by far the best place I’ve had the pleasure of covering temp. World class beaches, top products on your door step. Inveraray bound next week then down to London for a few days. Have been snowed under this past year catching up with venues and it’s nice to see our diary back to some normality. Look forward to announcing our new mobile services very soon. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past 2 years and your understanding. Means a lot 💙

My partner and I started Argyll Candles last year and it has been very exciting and stressful at times. My partner came up with this idea during lock down when I had to make sanitiser using my Gin for the food van. Please like and share and look out for the giveaways to celebrate the launch.

Breakfast menu available for our Venues this season, we will be in Glasgow from 19th of January working with our partners providing services throughout the city. We are still looking for local venues in Dunoon and surrounding areas to host small wedding parties and private events please get in touch if your venue would like to be featured on our website www.wined-dined.com

Had a very busy day yesterday finalising pricing structure for Say Aye Tae The Pie proved very difficult due to high rising cost of raw ingredients, can see why mass producers use so many artificial flavours and E numbers. These are just a few of the pie’s available for New Year’s Eve. Buffets are now fully sold out and will be delivered Saturday evening, Pie’s will still be available on first come first serve and should be booked through the website

PREMISES UPDATE

Has been all go with viewings locally over the past couple of weeks with the food production kitchen units we hope to operate from in 2023 😀 should your venue be looking for private catering in the Argyll area please get in touch so you can feature in our menus and venues which will be going live on the website mid January and will also feature with our booking agents. Please email for more information and to arrange a free risk assessment of your venue. This is to ensure your venue is appropriate for the correct advertising.

I have some spaces available for new year celebrations. All Christmas boxes and dinners completely sold out and thank you for all the support. Private dining still available but only have the odd day available during the week until February. Hopefully will have some good news regarding our production kitchen in the new year so keep your eyes peeled for new products and competitions.

Thank you for all the support this year, been very busy between working for someone else and keeping Wined&Dined and Doon the Watter Gin a float during such difficult times. All going strong and ready for a hectic few weeks with our annual charity lunches around Dunoon. Thank you to all that have supported me this year and can’t wait to get back to normality.
