Duns Playfest interview on impact of local community….

All the work we do has accessibility at its heart. Have a read of John McEwen's thoughts on that matter in his blog... Making Theatre accessible
https://www.dunsplayfest.org.uk/post/making-theatre-accessible

We believe that everyone has the right to access the positive, life affirming nature of the Creative and Theatre Arts, and we are committed to showing work that is inclusive, financially accessible to all and offers marganised groups within the community opportunities to become involved in theatre, both on and off stage!

We love to support local writers who perhaps may not have, if DPF was not there, put on their work in front of an audience... Local writing group Wordweavers, is a group that is woven into the fabric of DPF and we love watching their confidence grow and their writing develop. We think they are quite amazing and we know you will too.

They will be joining us again on Wednesday 7 May at 4pm. https://tikt.link/dpf25wordweavers

If you are coming to the Community Cinema tonight. Doors will open half an hour before each performance:

This means we can admit you quickly so you don’t have to wait long in a queue and you have more time to…
Choose your seat
Buy some refreshments - a tea or coffee, sweets, an ice cream or a drink from our bar.

There will be tickets available to buy on the door (but it looks like Bridget Jones will be busy - so be quick!)
