After 30 years as chairman of Harlington Village Hall, Andy Bishop stepped down from the post at our recent AGM. The committee and trustees thank Andy for his commitment and service to the hall for such a long period of time; keeping it well maintained and ensuring it is a well used facility in the heart of our community. All committee members are volunteers whose work often goes unnoticed, so we wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to Andy who admits the hall has been like a second home.
So many organisations in the village are run by volunteers, so do consider whether you could be of any assistance in the running of them.
