In a million years I would never have guessed the words that would follow the question I asked my new 7 year old- when I asked him what he wanted to do for his 7th birthday.. would be- "A Dog themed messy play party.. but not wet mess, and I want some craft stuff too, and the snow machine.. oh and I want everyone in fancy dress!" -This child knew exactly what he wanted..

Ok... Challenge accepted! 🥳

Having never done a party for a child over 6 before this one was new for me.. but never one to back away from trying something new- we kept it small including everything he asked for, so C didn't find it too overwhelming and overstimulating invited just 12 of his friends and made the stations much bigger, his favourite dogs are Huskies, so obviously we had to include snow too..

We had artificial snow, snowball's, we had bubbles and we had glitter tattoos too! 🥰

And it went down a "snow"storm he loved it! 🥳🥳🥳

We are happy to work with you to create the perfect bespoke party, no matter what their age is- prices may vary from our package prices for children over 6 depending on what options you choose.. but if I can, I will... 💚💚💚

A Messy play Birthday party for a Barbie/Mermaid/unicorns/Cars/dinosaur loving 3 year old.. Happy 3rd Birthday Nora!

I did the full buffet for this one, and it included support during and the clear up too!

They brought along their own cake, and what an amazing cake it was! 😍

Safe to say the adults enjoyed this one as much as the kids did.. 😆😉💚

All pictures were taken for them so they could keep their phones in their pocket and enjoy their party - pretty much as stress free as parties go!

Ended the party with Bubbles for that perfect party finale.. 🥰

Dates in the diary for messy play or Glow messy play parties are pretty much full between now and the first weekend end of February with only 4 dates remaining 23/24 Nov, 8th Dec and 12th January left.. (these may go before I get a chance to amend this post again so check with me first!)

Softplay hire prices...

(Fyi just to save confusion- we don't hire bouncy castles but highly recommend Dursley bouncy castles.. We have on several occasions hire a variety of different sized set ups alongside their castles.)

I know I've not posted in a while but we've been busy in the background!

My diary for Nov, Dec and January are nearly full.. I have hires/parties in the diary for as far down the line as April with 1 booking for sept 2025.. here's a few hires we've done in a variety of venues from home hires, to small halls and alongside bouncy castles (-not ours we don't do castles- they're hired out by Dursley bouncy castles usually) if you're looking for a home hire or party get in touch sooner rather than later!

Happy 2nd Birthday Addlee!

Every party we do is different and unique and individually catered for the child whose party it is, and yesterday's party was one of them..

A Mini Messy play party, with a few requests - firstly no "wet mess" just a more sensory based experience, that had no risk of staining party clothes.. with a theme of a mix of her 2 favourite things, Farm animals, and dogs- to go with her amazing Waffle the wonder dog birthday cake 💚

And this was the result.. 😍

Their mini messy play 1 hour party included the use of Cam Youth & Community Centre the decorations and balloons, a small snack type buffet, and teas and coffees and squash and water, my support for the duration - I took photos so they could enjoy the party, we finished their party with bubbles and I dealt with the set up and clean up.. there were 9 adults and 5 kids at this one. 😊 They got to arrive in time for the party - they didn't need to bring anything but their birthday cake, they had their party fun and they got to leave at the end of the party, they didn't have to spend anything over the cost of the party so they knew they could keep to their budget - pretty much as stress free as they come!

The mini messy play set up is for an advised max of 15 children, but it's a guide not a rule.. all 5 kids had a great time!

I do still have a few dates available for parties and softplay hires between now and march, but dates are filling up with most Saturdays booked between now and December..

Whether you have a Glow messy play, Messy play, Softplay or Softplay disco there is something for every one we can adapt our parties to suit all ages 1-6.. both at the centre or elsewhere (venue hire and food not included elsewhere and may include a travel fee) just drop me a message (preferably by WhatsApp) and we can go from there..

If you wish to hire the softplay equipment- for elsewhere, or at home- we do that too!

(Side note, no party is booked or secured until the deposit is paid- it's absolutely not a problem if you change your mind, or go with something else- but a message to let me know out of courtesy is appreciated, so the date can be passed on and I don't lose the income for the day).

Made the most of the unpredictable weather forecast yesterday, by setting up our construction set up in the living room for a small 5th birthday party alongside a castle from Dursley Bouncy castles in the garden..

Perfect back up plan.. luckily the downpour came just as we packed up everything and got as much as we could indoors!!

Our most basic Disco softplay party set up at the centre where we hold our sessions all set up for a 2nd birthday celebration yesterday 🥳

I supply the set up at this venue, some balloons and decorations and cd player, and no extras- I leave them to it- they bring their own cake, food and drink.. job done.. 😉

£50 for the hall hire
(set up and clear up time included- recommend 1.5 hours for the optimum party)

£120 for this Disco lights and softplay set up and decor and 10 balloons.

Note- Price differs if held elsewhere and set up size is much smaller.

2 set ups out on hire today - 1 for a naming ceremony, and 1 for a birthday party at home..

With the weather being pretty sucky, and our living room still mid renovations following underfloor heating being installed, we decided to take advantage of owning softplay and set up the 3rd set up in our living room to give the boys a safe space to play while the rain is so on and off plus the new balls arrived yesterday so wanted to test them out in the - much deeper than our usual - ballpit! 💚

Safe to say even at ages 4.5 &6 this set up went down very well!

I have absolutely no idea what game H is playing, but the ballpit is the ocean, the waves are destroying the pirate ship and apparently and there's a lot of drama happening.. 🤣🤣🤣

If you book a party in advance, pay the non refundable deposit and then closer to the payment due date circumstances change, number wise or budget wise it's ok to ask me to downsize to a cheaper option.. I'm never one to judge, if I can help I will.. 💚

👷🏼⭐ Our new set up has arrived! ⭐👷🏼

Perfect for the little construction vehicle fans in your lives- this equipment is perfect for unders 6s (though my 6.5 year old loves it too.. 🤣)

👷🏼 An 18 piece set up, with a 4ft x 4ft ball pit and a softplay slide with 6 softplay mats

(For perspective our usual multi coloured set up we hire out is a 12 piece set up and 3ft ballpit)

👷🏼Hire the whole set up with 6 mats, and 2 animals hoppers for a birthday party at any venue, event or 24 hour home hire just because! - for however long you need it up to 24 hours for £100 (travel extra if over 10 miles from dursley)

👷🏼For hires at cam youth and community centre only- it will be the same price but with 12 mats and additional shapes and 2 red ride ons)

👷🏼Smallest space needed for full set up is 12ft x 9ft or 8ft X 9ft depending on how the 6x 3ft x4ft mats are set up as ballpit can go on top of the mats or to the side.

👷🏼Can be used outdoors, but will need to be shaded from the sun (as the softplay heats up and makes it too hot to play on) and not raining/ground dry.

Apologies for the delay and thank you for bearing with me!!

Here is the timetable for the next 8 weeks..

❌💚 Note this is not yet available to book online- that's being done in the next 24 hours will do as much as I can tonight.. 💚❌

Reception class 2024 play dates ahead of September can be arranged for any of the weekend dates in white currently (these are also dates for party availability and softplay hire with Woodfield Tots- Early years events, Softplay hire and ad-hoc Childcare ) - but availability may change depending on bookings for the centre or myself - if you're further out and want to set up a reception session closer to you- I can supply the equipment once you've organised the venue- double check I'm available first as this changes daily!

I have made some changes to the session times to try and accommodate both the children in ad-hoc childcare, and those attending sessions - unfortunately some sessions weren't filling enough to run them again, however if you wish to attend a private session this can be arranged on a weekend day or Friday with enough notice.. you'll need a group of at least 10/ or to pay a set fee - message for more info..

Session times are for the most part extending again to 2 hour sessions - you do not need to attend for the full 2 hours or from the start, or stay till the end it's just to give you a bit more flexibility when you attend.. I've had to compromise with the afternoon situation by running the mid morning from 11.45-1.45 so it should cover those that nap twice a day or later in the day, with the mid day nappers able to attend the morning..

Due to the amount of sessions and childcare etc I have also had to factor some days off in for my own mental health.. note I will not be available for adhoc childcare on the Friday date in black unless an absolute emergency (like going into labour and needing care for a sibling)

I can't please everyone, but for now this is the best set up I can come up with - I will plan some weekend dates in too - once I know when the reception play dates will be- so keep following for updates!

I will revisit the under 1 sessions at a later date - uptake v Interest wasn't enough to cover my costs in the last 2 terms. - all our sessions are for 0-4s so you are very welcome to attend any session- I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how accommodating it is across all ages..

If anyone is available to support with setting up, mid session and clear up (voluntary at present till numbers pick up or I get funding) sessions with or without their children in tow (in return attending session for free) then drop me a message..
