The start of a new week… Wimbledon is over for another year, I thoroughly enjoyed! The Euros2024 is over, not the result we truly wanted but huge congratulations to all involved in getting into the finals again!

Another wet Saturday but it might as well have been sunny in my boutique because my beautiful Bride Hannah brought her best friends to see me having been with her Mum on Thursday and they all unanimously agreed that she had to say ‘Yes to the Dress’, a stunning wedding dress just perfect for Hannah’s wedding at next year!

I’ve just had some fabulous photos of a beautiful day sent through to me from my gorgeous bride Francesca who married her love Derek on 4th July in the beautiful town of Luss on Loch Lomond in Scotland.

Funny enough Chris and I were only in Luss for afternoon tea exactly the week before saying wouldn’t this be amazing for a wedding with the church on the loch side. Congratulations to them both, here’s what Francesca had to say:-

Good morning to all my lovely followers, we had a fabulous weekend with brides collecting their gowns and new brides looking for the perfect dress and accessories. The first of my brides who said ‘Yes to the Dress’, was the wonderful Tilly and by golly she fell head over heels in love with the first dress she tried on! It was a pleasure to watch her so excited especially when she said she was nervous and wasn’t really looking forward to trying dresses on!

Well as most of my gorgeous brides and their families know our Son got married at in Aberdeen on 22nd June and we had the most amazing weekend celebrating Jason and Tanya’s wedding!

I just love my Brides and Molly was no exception… she fell in love with Liam and they got married and said I do! I was lucky enough to be a small part in their wedding as Molly found her dream dress Perilla from Olivia Rose, . Here’s what she had to say about her day…

‘Liam and I got married in Stillington St Nicholas church. The wedding was magical and probably the sunniest day of the year yet!

My dress was a complete surprise to everyone, EVERYONE LOVED IT! I have never felt so comfortable and confident in a dress it was a dream day!

We’re so excited for our Son’s wedding this weekend in Scotland, so we’re closing from this Thursday 20th June and reopening on Tuesday 2nd July for an extended break.

I want to say huge congratulations to Faye and her husband Andrew who got married last month at .delta… a bittersweet day for them as Faye lost her gorgeous Mum Shelley only two weeks before her big day.

I had the privilege of meeting Shelley when Faye said ‘Yes to the Dress’ and she was just so proud and excited to see her daughter find her gown and look so gorgeous. I know she will have been with Faye every step of the way on her wedding day with a big proud smile on her face.
