POP UP LUNA NIGHT MARKET! 🌙

These are on a smaller scale to our usual events and we won't be providing entertainment so are free to attend!

Just a place to come and support a selection of your local alternative small businesses whilst also checking out the hottest new venue in Sunderland

Home to some incredible food and drink vendors it's a gorgeous night out!

The videos we've all seen this past week have been horrific.

There's one that I can't seem to get out of my head.

A mother and her child skipping along to a protest shouting racial slurs. What sort of a mother is that.

I've just had to have a difficult but necessary conversation with my children about racism and what's happening right now in Britain. My mothering instinct is always to protect them from the horrors of the world but I understand there's such a thing as sheltering them too much.
It's more important to me that they're educated and shown that we don't hate people because of the colour of their skin.
We hate people because they're arse holes

As some of you may have seen I got some news in regards to the previous venue we had booked for Fridays event, with just 4 days to go I had no other choice but to find another venue.

A huge thank you to Sam at Tapyard Studios for being so helpful and accommodating. Very excited to hold the Luna Night Market at your gorgeous venue!

With live music, an awesome bar, hot food, sweet treats (lots of vegan options) and 30 weird and wonderful stalls this is going to be a night to remember 👌

🌞Weather is looking lush, there's some outdoor seating so you can get some scran and soak up the sun!

£5 entry on the door once you pay to get in, you can come and go as you please!

Children are welcome, some stalls may have items that are not child appropriate, please use discretion. Under 14's are free!

🐶Well behaved dogs welcome

👩‍🦽The venue is fully accessible

Plenty of parking available within hoults yard, free if you register your car at the bar.

The venue isn't too far from the quayside, there's some nice pubs on route if you fancy walking, there's also buses and a metro close by.

Roker Hotel

We can't wait to be back at this stunning 170 year old venue by the sea on Sunday in the newly renovated ball room!

If it's a nice day, a drink in beer garden is a must! They will also have the Euro finals on screen after the market at 8pm with a special food menu on offer.

To find us go through the hotel reception and follow the signs up the stairs, past the huge gorgeous ornate mirror (tag us in your selfies)

How is everyone feeling on this rainy day? Can we all manifest a summer with some sun please 🙏

Just wanted to say thank you to those who came along to our Newcaste event on Sunday it was so lovely to see you all out supporting local small businesses.

If you missed it we have one this Sunday at Roker Hotel with a slight time change, now on from 5-8pm to not clash with the euro finals.

So you can come along to the market listen to Jen Stevens Music live then head upstairs to Poetic License Bar At The Roker Hotel to watch the match if you like!

40 small businesses selling their weird and wonderful wares plus holistic room where you can get a mini treatment, tarot reading or ya chakras balanced!

A few things to know before you come...

💀 Doors open at 6pm
🌙£5 entry, cash or card (please try to have correct change if paying cash to allow a quicker entry) 14 and under free * some items sold not suitable for children please use discretion
🖤 Entry to the market is NOT through the biscuit factory entrance, go to the side of the building onto Bermondsey Street to the Biscuit Room entrance.
🚘 free small car park outside the venue, all street parking free on a Sunday. Another car park avaiable on stepney bank, ousburn, 5 min walk
🚉 Nearest metro is Manors
🐕 Unfortunately no dogs allowed
🦽 The venue is wheelchair friendly, stair lift available.
🎸Live music from Lockheed Lindsay from 7pm-8pm
