Update -

My Father is recovering well at home, since his
discharge from hospital, but still has some way
to go before he is fully recovered, and as of
now and in the coming weeks will still need
some caregiving and assistance. He is
making slow but steady good progress. We still
have a few business arrangements to deal
with yet.

Apologies, but everything else still has
to take a back seat, for the time being. I hope
to get back on here soon (sometime in the
New Year) I hope to get back on here in earnest soon (in the New Year), and dedicate my time once more to creating content, baking and decorating cakes, taking and fulfilling orders, and creating posts.

I hope to get out and about at local
markets in the coming months, too (Starting in the New Year).

In the meantime it will still be interim posts month to month only.

Thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time, so far, you have all been utterly amazing and wonderful with your patience, understanding and support, and hopefully your ongoing support, while we all move on from this difficult time, and get back to resuming and living our normal lives once more.

A little bit about me, the person behind the cakes and Anderida Bakery -

I'm Vera, I have lived in East Grinstead nearly all my life (since 1982). From Southend-on-Sea in Essex originally.
When l'm not baking or decorating cakes, I have a lifetime love of Dogs, Horses and Horse-riding, plus a lifetime love of Ballet, Dance and Singing, and, I sometimes take part in the occasional performance/show. These days, I mostly do it to stay fit and for fun.
I had the idea to start cake making and decorating as a hobby - to indulge in my creative side, and to make wonderful cakes for my amazing niece and nephew - just as lockdown started. Which then turned into a love of cake creations and decorating.
Three years later - I decided to turn it into a business, Anderida Bakery.
I'm very much looking forward to expanding the
business this year.
I hope this is a journey you will join me on.
So many ideas and plans for 2025 to take this
business forward in the coming months.
Looking forward to creating these and your ideas in 2025 and beyond.
I am very much looking forward to the next stage of promoting this business. I have learned so much already in the last three years, and will keep learning, since deciding to embark upon turning this into a business. I hope to get out and about, at local markets next year* (*We are already registered as a food business with MSDCC, with a rating of 5), maybe see some of you there, I hope, meet new
people and hopefully potential customers.

I will continue to update our social media pages with information, photos and cakes I will make.

In the meantime, a very big thank you to my followers, family and friends, so far, for sticking with me. I sincerely hope that you will continue to enjoy the content I post, and continue to join me on this journey.
