What a fantastic day! Yesterday, we had the pleasure of capturing Lucy & Grant’s wedding at the beautiful Lochside House Hotel. From the heartfelt ceremony to the lively reception, every moment was filled with joy and celebration.

TJ Thomson conducted the ceremony with an expertly delivered mix of fun, laughter but full of heart too. It was perfect!
The whole day was just a huge celebration, thanks to the best in the business, Euan Lawrence from Tartan Entertainment, who kept everyone dancing throughout the day and night.

Collaborating with Liam from LPR Films and Stephen was a delight, as we worked together to capture every special moment.

Kirsty and the team at Lochside were incredible as always. Always a total pleasure working alongside such a professional team.

✨ Amy & Erol ✨

What an absolute joy to capture Amy & Erol’s intimate wedding at the beautiful City Chambers in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Surrounded by their loving family, it was a truly heartfelt ceremony.

Afterwards, we hopped into their arranged cab and explored the city for some stunning portraits, including the breathtaking views from Calton Hill. Edinburgh never fails to provide the perfect backdrop!

The weather in Edinburgh was nothing short of perfect for a December wedding—dry and crisp, but not too cold. Truly ideal! The festive spirit paired beautifully with the navy and gold theme, and every detail fell seamlessly into place.

Yesterday, I had the absolute privilege of capturing Katie and Ben’s magical winter wedding at the breathtaking Lochside Hotel, Lodges, and Spa. Surrounded by love, laughter, and the most stunning backdrop, their day was a perfect reflection of their love story. 💍❄️
From the bridal suite filled with laughter (and the calming touch of Ainslie helping the girls prepare) to Ben and his groomsmen getting ready in one of the gorgeous lodges, every moment was filled with warmth despite the chilly air outside.
The ceremony was truly special, and it was clear how much it meant to Ben as he was overcome with emotion when Katie walked down the aisle with her father, Alan.
As Always John Leo Scott conducted a beautiful ceremony which was befitting of such a special day.
Working with incredible vendors always makes the day seamless, and yesterday was no exception. Shoutout to: 🎥 Heather from Fine Films—always a joy to team up with and capture those cinematic moments. 🎤 The surprise singing servers who had everyone on their feet with a performance that no one will forget! 💄 Emily Snow, whose makeup magic kept everyone glowing. 🎻 The stunning sounds of the Arta String Quartet setting the mood perfectly. 🎂 The delectable cake by Honeybee Bakery—a feast for both the eyes and taste buds.

Katie & Ben’s first dance to “Please Forgive Me” by David Gray had everyone swaying, and their energy carried right through to the evening with The Rox keeping the dance floor packed.

What a day! Amy and Jay tied the knot at the beautiful Balbirnie House, and everything about their wedding was simply perfect. From the classic black, white, and grey theme to the warm family moments, the day was full of love and laughter. 💍✨
With both Amy and Jay getting ready at the venue, it was great to capture those special pre-ceremony moments. Their ceremony at 1 PM was heartfelt and intimate, followed by an evening filled with fun, a sparkler photo, and an amazing first dance to Elvis - Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. 🕯🎶
Family was at the heart of the day, with a few portraits of their loved ones and my usual photo opportunity keeping this time to a minimum so they could enjoy time with their guests. The attention to detail—from the stunning florals by Poppy Floral to Amy’s gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress from Emma Roy—made the day even more magical.
Congratulations again, Amy and Jay! Wishing you all the best as you jet off to the USA for your honeymoon in December. 🌎✈️

What an incredible day celebrating Lisa & Adam at the stunning Lochgreen House Hotel! The venue’s breathtaking grounds provided the perfect setting for a wedding full of love, laughter, and nonstop fun.

The day was packed with unforgettable moments, but one of the most special was when Lisa & Adam braved the beach for some photos. This spot is so dear to them, as it’s where they often walk with their beautiful dog, Luna. Despite the wind, they were all smiles and so full of joy, making for some truly great shots.

The atmosphere throughout the day was amazing, with Geo Gospel Choir entertaining everyone during dinner, getting the party going early! Later, Ernest Wedding Band took the stage and turned the evening into a full-on party that had guests dancing into the night! Some awesome moves by the guests! High kicks no less!🤣

I also loved catching up with Gary from Olive & Thistle Films—an incredibly talented filmmaker and an all-around fantastic person to work with.

A perfect autumnal day in the heart of Scotland set the stage for Brian and Roland’s stunning wedding at the breathtaking Schloss Roxburghe. 🍂 The crisp air, golden leaves, and timeless charm of the venue created a truly unforgettable celebration of love.

A special shout-out to Oskar, the wedding planner extraordinaire, who orchestrated every detail to perfection. From the beautiful ceremony to the incredible reception, Oskar’s vision and dedication made the day seamless and truly spectacular.

✨ Kirsten & Alex’s wedding at Brig O’ Doon next to complete! ✨

Bridal prep started over at the beautiful Kirkgate House, right across from the church. With its timeless charm and elegant rooms, it felt like we had the entire town to ourselves for the morning. The perfect setting to start this special day!

Last Saturday’s wedding of Charles & Camilla at Schloss Roxburghe was simply unforgettable! This venue truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most stunning in the country—a dream setting for such a beautiful celebration.

A huge thank you to Jack and the team, who managed every detail seamlessly, making the day effortless and elegant. And to , whose planning and precision were evident in every moment, bringing everything together so perfectly. The floral arrangements by Olive Owl Flowers were nothing short of magical—transforming the marquee into something truly special.

I was thrilled when Rachel and Darren asked me to photograph their wedding at the breathtaking Mansfield Traquair. Rachel, who runs the highly successful RPC Design Wedding Stationery business, has worked with many photographers, so it was truly an honor to be chosen. Thank you so much, Rachel!

Mansfield Traquair is simply stunning! Is there a more beautiful venue in Scotland for a wedding? The focus of the day was on having fun with loved ones and being fully present, which is exactly how it should be. We took about 20 minutes for some portraits around the venue before returning to capture all the candid, joyful moments.
