🌟 What an unforgettable day at Carlowrie Castle for Lauren & Scott’s beautiful wedding! 🌟

Lauren and Scott are two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet, and their smiles and laughter were infectious all day long. 💕 Seeing them so happy made capturing their special moments an absolute joy.

Bridal preparations were a breeze with the amazing Pam, Stacey, and Murray making sure Lauren looked stunning as always. It’s always a pleasure to work with this talented team!

The ceremony was conducted by the brilliant Tim Maguire, who brought his usual charm and warmth. And I was thrilled to have TLC and Caitlin from IdocontentUK by my side, ensuring every moment was beautifully captured.

Time flew by because everyone, including our team, was having such a blast! 🎉 Paddy Gordon’s infectious energy kept everyone entertained, and the dance floor was on fire thanks to the incredible Sneaky Treacle. 💃🕺

But wait, there’s more! A dress change, fireworks, and sparklers topped off a truly magical day. ✨

What a lovely day yesterday
photographing Louise & Josh’s “enchanting” wedding in East Lothian. Louise is a big Disney fan and Archerfield is definitely a place that delivers that vibe.
From the heartfelt ceremony at St Mary’s Parish Church in Haddington to the elegant reception at Archerfield House, every moment was filled with love and joy.
This intimate wedding, surrounded by close family and friends, was truly special. It was clear how much it meant to Louise and Josh to have their nearest and dearest sharing in their magical day.
Louise and Josh, you are such a kind and thoughtful couple. It was a real pleasure to be there alongside you, capturing the memories of your beautiful day.

📸 Just had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jennifer and William’s gorgeous wedding at the stunning Dunglass Estate! 🌞 The sun was shining, which made for a breathtaking day perfect for a wedding. Working alongside my good friend is always great fun.

The ceremony in the beautiful Dunglass Church was filled with laughter and love, expertly conducted by Simon Houston, a fantastic humanist celebrant from . The whole day had such a relaxed, family feel, with Will’s family traveling all the way from Dublin to celebrate. 💖

📸✨ What a brilliant time I had capturing Heather & Aaron’s beautiful wedding at her brother, Stuart’s home in South Lanarkshire! The party atmosphere was electric, and the vibes were simply unforgettable. 🎉

The Geo Gospel Choir absolutely blew everyone away with their incredible performance, setting the perfect tone for the day. 🎶 It was fantastic to team up with Rory from RHB Media again - always a pleasure working alongside such a talented guy. 📹

✨👰🤵 Fairytale dreams really do come true! Sam and Sheila traveled all the way from Orange County, California to say “I do” in the stunning Carlowrie Castle, fulfilling their dream of a magical Scottish wedding. 🌍💍

Their intimate celebration was pulled together perfectly by Cheryl from Premier Weddings Scotland and the staff at Carlowrie, ensuring every detail was just right. With only their closest friends and family present, it was truly a day to remember with two of the nicest people you could ever meet. ❤️❤️. Really special day with Jillian & Tom on Friday. It really means a lot to me to keep being part of the family‘s photography over the last 12 years. From weddings to Christenings and family events. Thank you Jillian, Tom and the rest of the family for your support. It really means more than you know. Must be doing something right I guess. ☺️
It was lovely morning for bridal prep. Nice and chilled and the excitement of the day started to build. It was also free to meet Jack the videographer for the first time. Really talented young filmmaker who you should definitely be checking out.
The ceremony took place at picturesque Stow Parish church where it was a little breezy to say the least but kudos to the guests for getting that confetti heading in the right direction!🤣
Then it was off to Kippilaw House in a beautiful vintage red Mercedes for the wedding reception in the sunshine. Beautiful mansion house in a sheltered estate. Stunning!
July looked absolutely stunning in her dress by Sophia Grace Couture and Tom was looking very dapper in his Kilt by David Thomson.
The party was awesome as got the place jumping from the get go!

10 years ago, Eve said to me, “If I ever get married, I’d only want you to do the photos!”
Meant the world to me to hear that and I’m absolutely delighted to say, Thursday was that day! What a day it was!
The wedding was beautiful but with a fantastic party feel. It was all about celebrating Eve and Paul saying their I do’s and spending the first day of the rest of their lives together in style.
The ceremony was outside… then Paul the celebrant did an amazing job of getting everyone back inside for twenty mins as the rain came down. Scotland after all. Thankfully this all happened just before Eve made her entrance so when the sun did shine, it all came together perfectly.
Then it was party and fun, Prosecco and dancing before getting some epic shots on the beach at sunset alongside my good mate Danny from TLC. Awesome as always.
Eve.. Paul.. thank you so much and thank you for the surprise lovely email which I’m so thankful for. Very kind indeed. Wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else on Thursday.

It was lovely to meet up Jade and David for their engagement shoot at Yellowcraigs beach earlier this week. We had a great time walking along the beautiful beach , chatting about the wedding plans at Kinkell Bure next year and getting some great shots in between.

The rain never let up all day but that never stopped Kayleigh and Darshak having a beautiful wedding day at Balbirnie. Kayleigh and the bridesmaids were looked after on the morning by Laura Anderson and Helen McNeil on hair and makeup respectively. Lovely to see you both again. The girls looked fantastic!

After a lovely first look with dad it was time for the ceremony and what a genuine treat to be working with Stewart Struthers, Humanist Celebrant again. Don’t see Stewart enough as he is one of the very best.

Lee and I had an absolute fantastic time with Kayleigh and Darshak. Despite the rain Kayleigh was determined to get out there with the brollys for some exterior shots. More of these in the coming posts. ❤️❤️

I had the most amazing time at Claire and Adam’s wedding at the beautiful Achnagairn Castle! 💍✨ We kicked things off with a super fun and very glamorous pre-wedding party, complete with a casino and a delicious hog roast. 🎉🍖. It was delish!! All the images in slide two are from the party. 🎈
The wedding day was just incredible! The venue, the bride and groom, the guests, the food… it was all just absolutely perfect. What an amazing day. ❤️❤️❤️

A simply beautiful fairytale wedding day with genuinely two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. ❤️❤️. Since meeting Jennie and Brian via Zoom last year, I knew this was going to be a special day. They’ve been smiling and excited since day one and it really shone through on the day.
Beautiful people and a lovely family at Carlowrie in a mix of fairytale wedding and what felt like a house party in the evening. Does it get much better? Paddy was is usual fantastic self, DJ’ing the tunes and interacting with the guests with his amazing lighting. His whole system of lighting and music come together to create something really special. Love working with Paddy.
With 30 guests, the Piano Room created the perfect intimate party vibe. What a day!

Awe what a day!! Caron & Dave’s wedding was a celebration in every sense of the word. One of those days when I feel like one of the guests but with a camera and a few things to make sure happens. Other than that I had an absolute blast! Catching up with so many friends from weddings past and hopefully weddings future. 😉😉😂. Caron, Dave you are both amazing people, so kind and a massive thank you for heading back out when the sun began to set a little. So worth it.

Back at Eskmills for the first time since last summer and it was an absolute blast! Emma & Jacob’s big day at Eskmills had such a party vibe with so many familiar faces… Absolutely loved it! Past brides, grooms, family friends and other guests who I’ve been lucky enough to see again and again at all the past weddings.

It was great to catch up with Liam from LPR Films at bridal prep in the morning. Liam is one of the most talented young videographers out there and should be at the top of anyone’s wedding films lists. Great to see you again Liam!

The party atmosphere started with the bridal prep (and the Red Bulls 😂) in the morning. The day was already flying by band it was soon time for the emotional first looks.

Liam and I headed to Eskmills for the Grooms Reception which is a lovely idea. An hour before the ceremony for a drinks reception with guests asked to arrive earlier than usual. Fantastic.

The ceremony was just what Emma & Jacob wanted, fast and efficient so there was more time to mingle and party the rest of the day away… Perfect!

The whole day was coordinated by the wonderful Emma Paden. Looking forward to Emma’s big day too!

An incredible wedding day with Siobhan & Andrew at a very windy Balbirnie House. From the moment Lee and arrived we felt like part of the wedding party thanks to the lovely warm welcome we received from Siobahnn and the bridal party. Even little goodie bags full of lovely gifts, Frisps, sweets and chocolates. Thank you!

Andrew and the guys were getting ready as the wind swirled outside but we managed to get some shots of the guys without getting blown away too much. The wind was really starting to whip up in the afternoon but it didn’t make any difference to this beautiful wedding day.

Siobhann looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful wedding dress by Eleganza Sposa, Glasgow.

A brilliant ceremony by TJ, one of the best cooordiantors out there in David, sing waiters and a brilliant band added to the best day Siobhann, Andrew and little Findlay could have hoped for.

The perfect rustic Scottish Island wedding! Holly & Dom’s wedding was as much about fun and family as it was beautiful. The weather all week was awful but I drew back the curtains in my hotel room to a bright blue sky. It didn’t last but it was way better than we’d had.

Lee Richardson was alongside shooting video and we both met up with Dom the day before at the venue then went for a drive around the island to visit some of the places Holly & Dom had suggested for photos. We never like to be away too long shooting, so seeing Mount Stewart was only minutes up the road was perfect. There’s a wedding happening and I love to see the couple having a great time with guests.

It was lovely to work with Victoria Johnston, Humanist Celebrant for the 1st time. Absolutely brilliant.

Going between bride and groom for prep in the morning, getting to know friends and family before the vows and also taking on some planning to help the day run smoothly. Really wanted to make sure the day went perfectly while still having that laid back, party feel. Absolutely loved it!

When friends and neighbours you’ve known for years asks you to shoot their wedding, it really does mean a lot. Christie & James’ wedding at Cairns Farm Estate was a real honour to be a part of and meant so much to me personally to be with with fiends, neighbours and previous brides, grooms as well as parents too. Being asked to be a part of a circle of friends weddings again and again is the best feeling! Thank you so much Christie, James and everyone else, (you know who you are) who made this wedding day heaven!

Special mention for Osman from Hickory who I haven’t seen for absolutely ages but was delighted to see him back as he’s one of the very best coordinators in the business!
