Yesterday’s Beautiful Bridal Bouquet and buttonholes, all flowers sourced and grown locally with only a couple of ingredients coming from afar. This was an absolute pleasure to create as I was given free rain to design. Creating a bouquet for such an important event can be quite stressful because you want it to be perfect, I like to listen to classical music in the background and just take my time. The best feeling in the world is when you deliver the bouquet to the bride and their reaction on seeing it for the first time. It’s an honour to be asked to provide such an important item for a wedding. Thank you 🌸🩷🌸 Thank you also to Becky for supplying the most gorgeous flowers for me to work with.

Had the pleasure of creating a Bridal Bouquet and some buttonholes today, with some gorgeous floral ingredients from my good friend Becky and some from my own garden. So nice to be able to provide locally grown flowers & support small businesses. Cannot wait to show you what I created in my new flower room but for now here are the flowers that were used.

A few shots from my front cutting garden, which is doing ok, I’m loving the deep purple of the cerinthe, the Aliums have done well this year and I have a random foxglove (there are about 30 out the back!) and of course you’ve probably noticed the domes, well this is my attempt to give my dahlias a fighting chance against the slugs and snails not and not the Eden Project as Mr C keeps saying 😂. Anyway so far so good. Hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend I have, this weather just makes you smile right 🌞🌞🌞

Alstroemeria - such a variety of colours, with an excellent vase life, these have been going for 7 days now and still look gorgeous, they are such a good filler in arrangements/bouquets and such good value.

A beautiful arrangement for a retirement lunch yesterday, foraging greenery, shop bought blooms and some hellebores from the garden, it just goes to show you can put something together without spending a fortune that will make a statement at an event. It was a real pleasure to create this piece for a very special colleague and friend - have a very happy retirement Lynn ♥️

New beginnings in the garden, love this time of year. Reminders of what has been hiding in the garden during the winter months always brings a smile to my face. Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine, to see what else is hiding in the ground that I’ve forgotten about 😁

Simply daffs, they just brighten up my day - these were not homegrown although I have plenty in the garden, but I love seeing them in the garden so tend not to pick them for the table. 🌼
