Such a pleasure to work L&M the bride and groom, for over a year planning their big day through pub meet ups and dinner around mine, and just a few emails….

Wishing you a life time of happiness!

Hope you are all well and the year has started on a positive note.

Business is good but it can always be better lots of events booked in for 2024 and also 2025 but there is always room for more.

It’s been a little bit quiet on here recently so apologies for that.

BCS have had a fair few events this year already and more to come in the coming months, very much looking forward to this weekend's where we have a Spanish inspired menu catering at the beautiful Montague Farm in Hankham ….. Just look at those sirloin steaks !!!!!

Congratulations to J & A on your wedding yesterday!

First wedding at Hendall Manor Barns yesterday,

Last week we catered for a family for three nights Merrieweathers.

Home made pizzas cooked on the Ooni, a three course meal and then a typically wet weather bbq on the third night.

Lovely family and a lovely venue.

Saturday evening we catered for a surprise (significant) birthday party!

Canapés to start then on to Thai fish cakes, fresh local scallops, filet of beef, dessert of either sticky toffee pudding or our signature roasted chilli pineapple and then a cheese board for those that had any room left.

Was a great evening enjoyed by all.

The new toy and the new dream team!!!

Always loved making pizza and it’s made even more enjoyable when it takes less than 60 seconds to cook it.

Really looking forward to having the ooni Karu 16 on the team at some ove our events this year, I feel like by the end of the summer he could have a twin.

Ooni UK what a great piece of equipment.

We welcomed in 2023 in style last night at the brilliant Merrieweathers .

Two very enjoyable nights, catering for a thirtieth on Friday evening serving up a lovely mixed paella with fresh bread and then a three course meal to start off the New Year’s Eve party.

Thank you so much to all off the staff that helped with these two events and also the suppliers with their great produce Cavendish Bakery KD Catering Butchers Ltd and Southern Head Fishing Co.

2023 is going to bring a lot of new ventures wit more events like this already booked in. I’m excited to see where we are this time next year.

Have had a busy day, again making up some dishes available for events you might be planning in the future.
The mains I think need an extra veg and maybe some natural light for photos but everything tasted great.

The over the top chilli was a real winner and tastes amazing but that’s gone in the freezer for easy access once the baby arrives in the next month and we do not have time to cook! 🍼

Just been to meet Romney over at montague farm in Hankham East Sussex!!

What a venue this is, it’s the triple threat package with the a room for the ceremony, the barn for the food/bar and of course a dance floor and then the cocktail bar area/snug/rum room (that’s what I would have it as).

Only operating since 2021 they have charged the venue market and really hit it head on, with only one space left for next year!

Montage farm are going to have us on their suppliers list which is great and very exciting for both Butlers catering Sussex and Pig on a stick .
