Love this shot captured at of the meadowy, seasonal florals that sat at the base to Rosie's arch.

Made completely foam/plastic free in water tight concrete planters,with chicken wire compactly inside to help support the stems.

Broken arches and the challenge of the weather.

Yesterday's beauty at the lovely vineyard in Alfriston. Wowee it was quite a challenge, I tried not to get stressed but with big uncontrollable things like the weather all we could do was our absolute best in those conditions.

It was sooo windy!! Gusts blowing the flowers, arch and pots over. But we came up with tying the poles, fitting a load of rustic logs around the base so the heaviest concrete pots were snug as a bug.

Just goes to show even if you do all the planning sometimes things just don't go your way.

It was still an absolute stunner of an arch nonetheless with stems like Delph, the largest Poppy seed heads, lush seasonal greenery and burgundy pops from Dahlias.

All the love for S & C yesterday and the cutest dog Lola.

I just spent the most amazing Easter weekend in Paris. We were so lucky with the never ending sunshine! All of the flowers were blooming, like here from 'Jardin Des Plantes' rows of brightly coloured Icelandic Poppies, petals like crepe paper 😍 Thank you for being so patient. Little Flower Florist’s Story So far..

Little Flower Florist is run by myself, Betty. I specialise in Weddings, Funerals, and Events. I have always had a love and interest in the natural world, especially flowers from childhood. I aim to use as many local stems and flowers to suit each season as possible, my floristry style is rather natural letting each stem create its own shape within each design.

My aim and improvements for 2019 are:

To use as little plastic in my day to day work- found in Oasis Foam, cellophane and so on.

Aim to set up workshops for later in the season.
