We will demonstrate how to assemble the house using the gingerbread shapes that we have baked for you, and then it's up to you to let your creativity run wild with the decorations! It's a delightful and innovative way to spend a couple of hours with your children, and the best part is that you can take your gingerbread house home with you, leaving the cleanup to us!

Christmas Cake Decorating Class
Tuesday 12th December 7 - 9 pm

Helen will demonstrate how to prepare and cover your Christmas cake with marzipan and fondant icing; then it will be your turn to work on your own cake. Once we have all covered our cakes, Ollie will demonstrate how to make his Sn*******ng Penguin design which you will then have a chance to recreate. If you decide you would like to decorate your cake with different or additional characters/ designs then we will assist and guide you. It's a fun and informal evening where you will learn new skills, meet new friends and take home your fully decorated, personalised Christmas cake, all ready to tuck into over the festive season.
You can bring your own home-made Christmas cake or you can order one from us.
If you're bringing your own cake, it's £39
If you would like us to provide a 6” round cake, it's £59
If 2 of you would like to work on 1 cake provided by us (7” round), it's £85
If 2 of you are working on one home-made cake, it's £59
Home made cakes should be a maximum of 9” round.
We will provide all materials and equipment, all you need bring is an apron.
The class is suitable for all ages although children under 13 should be partnered by an adult. Suitable for beginners.

Wow what an amazing night last night with the road full of people enjoying the festivities , stalls & fireworks that Little Chelsea Events put together with the help of Your Eastbourne BID I think this was possibly the most successful Xmas event to date .

I’m so grateful to the team putting so many extra hours in the past few weeks & to friends who have helped decorate & even help out on our stall last night. When you are short staffed in hospitality it’s very difficult & takes time to resolve & the pressure falls to the rest of the team to work longer hours & more days.

Kids Christmas Iced Biscuit Decorating
Monday 18th December 1- 2.30 pm £15

In this class the children will have 4 biscuits to ice and decorate in a Christmas theme. Helen will demonstrate the basics of icing biscuits and show the children a number of festive designs for them to recreate or use as inspiration. We will provide cellophane bags for the biscuits to dress your creations well enough to gift, that is, if they last that long!

I really enjoyed making this cake with the fairy door and piped buttercream flowers. A little sheen of edible pearlescent spray gave it an extra magical feel! I considered making a little fairy to go on top, but decided against it, as it almost felt more magical to have to imagine the fairy rather than have it depicted for you. But it was such a good brief to have and the customer was fantastic as she just let us make it up as we went along!

We really enjoyed making all the little autumnal bits to go on this wedding cupcake tower. There were acorns, blackberries, leaves, chocolate twigs, pine cones and more! It was great to see it all together on display. Such a fitting, seasonal cake at the gorgeous Westerham Golf Club and it was a beautiful day, before the storms!!

I absolutely love the pearlescent effect on this cake. It was an experiment with a new spray to try to get this exact effect and it worked really well! Apart from the fact that I was covered head to toe in sparkles at the end if it!
