Community pantries across Hampshire are open to everyone and work on a membership basis, so for a small weekly contribution you can select food to a much higher value. We now have 19 community pantries across Hampshire, and eight locations across the New Forest are served by a mobile larder operated by FareShare. Community pantries provide groceries at a much lower cost than supermarkets or shops, offering a range of fresh, frozen and general foods, which vary each week. Slow cookers – a money-saving way to cook – are also being made available from community pantries.

Several pantries organise activities and provide other support services, as well as social contact for anyone feeling isolated.
