🧑🏻‍🎄Santa's Workshop - Friday 13th December 🧑🏻‍🎄

Santa, Mrs Claus & their elves are coming back to Valley Park Community Centre for another magical experience.

Book your child onto one of our workshops ... they'll get to make a Christmas tree decoration, decorate a biscuit and wash it down with hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows before visiting Santa himself.

Every child will receive a gift from Santa. Just £6 per child, the experience will last about 30 minutes.

**Valley Park Christmas Fayre - THIS SUNDAY, 11am to 2pm**

A huge thank you to Charters Estate Agency for sponsoring our Christmas Fayre for another year. Thank you also to all the local business that have donated prizes for our raffle.

We hope you'll agree we have some lovely prizes on offer. Tickets can only be bought on the day at the event (£1 per ticket) so your odds of winning are far higher than the National Lottery! You've got to be in it to win, so pop on down on Sunday to buy your raffle tickets, look around the wonderful stalls, maybe warm yourself up with a cup of tea and a delicious cake from . The raffle will be drawn at 1:40pm on Sunday.

What a crazy few weeks at the Community Centre. Over the last 8 days, you've had the opportunity to join us for 5 community events! No wonder we've not been able to keep up and share our photos with you. In case you've lost track like we almost have:

🎄Christmas Bingo & Fish Supper - Fri 15th Nov. This was a hoot with our best prizes yet. Attended by 75 of you. Amazing food as always by Chunky fish and chips.

🚮 Community Litter Pick - Sun 17th Nov. We were joined by 6 lovely families who managed to collect a whole heap of rubbish and then joined us for cake and a natter afterwards.

✂️Community Craft Club - Mon 18th Nov (and every Mon). The second week for this new club. We must be doing something right as people came back after the first week and we had a couple of new faces too. Bring your own craft and equipment and chat with other crafters whilst attempting to finish your project. See our website to book your space.

🪑Community Kettle - Tue 19th Nov (and every Tue). We were joined by goPhysio who reminded us about the importance of staying active. They delivered a mini Chair Pilates session to us. It was great to see about 30 people joining in and having fun.

🎄Christmas Craft Workshop - Friday 22nd Nov. A new event for us. There were sandwiches, cakes, mince pies, hot chocolates, Christmas Gnomes, Pine Cone Santas, Book Art, Christmas Cards and a group of absolutely wonderful ladies. What more could you as for on Friday afternoon!

A huge thank you to the 16 volunteers that made these events possible.🥰

Second Christmas event completed ✅

Thank you to everyone that came to our Christmas Craft Workshop today. As well as eating mountains of food and cake, (washed down with fully loaded hot chocolate) everyone had the chance to try book art, make a Christmas Card, make an Xmas Gnome and pinecone Santa. It was a lovely atmosphere with now new friends.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers (Janet, Tracy, Lesley and Marie) for giving up their time to make the event possible.
